This happened to me a year ago. September 7th, 2017, it was a summer night when I went to the pool with my friends. I don't even remember what happened that day. It was crazy. I remember being in the pool and the next thing I remember was being in the hospital. All of sudden I was already in my own bed with my head hurting, like someone hitting me in the back of the head repeatedly. I asked what happened. It turns out I was in a coma for 2 weeks because of how badly my concussion was. I didn't even know what happened that day. They told me I was walking when a fast moving car was coming my direction that I took a step back and slipped and busted my hit on pavement and rocks. My head was bleeding that day my friends told me. It was insane I had amnesia for those 2 weeks I don't remember what exactly happened. Turns out it was 3 weeks later that I had returned my memory. I can't really remember what happened that month or some memories. I'm thankful I'm alive. I was giving prescription for pain medication because how badly it hurt. I had to go to a neurologist as they told me what I could or couldn't do and given the prescription. I couldn't workout for 4 months and I gained a lot of weight because of the lost of motivation in the time being. A year later I'm already recovered and feel great to do life again. Point being, be careful out there guys, it's crazy how one little thing can mess you up for awhile. Better to be safe than sorry.

Thats a crazy story, glad you are back :) my brother had a pretty bad motorcycle accident (wasnt his fault) just a few months ago. He hit a dead animal on the road (because some idiot hit it with his car and left it there.....) at about 55-60 mp/h or about 90 km/h. He flew over the handle bar and hit his head right on the tarmac (with a helmet oft course). He got knocked out and slid into the grass next to the road and came away with only a broken arm. He could have easily died there. He felt really sick for 2 days because of the brain concussion. The thing is that i was riding right in front of him and i could dodge the animal. I saw him flying in my mirror and heard everything.....but he has fully recovered by now and is up and riding again 😅

I've been knocked out 2 times! The 1st one, I was playing with a toy trumpet and I ran out of oxygen and "fell asleep". I became very dizzy and started seeing little sparkles and felt a cold breeze moving up my body as I quickly ran for a bed. Turns out I was out for a couple of hours but my friends thought I had just fallen asleep. I was like 6. The second time was a pretty quick one with no pain at all. I was kneeling on the floor picking up my phone that had fallen, and as I was standing back up, I didn't see the shelf above my head and as soon as I smashed my head, my legs gave way and I ended flat on the ground. I was out for a few seconds until I recovered my senses. It felt like falling asleep. However, a few minutes later I had a mild headache and felt dizzy for the rest of the day.

It's funny cause while I was snoozing I literally watched my life hit the reverse button fast speed and saw my whole life flash before my eyes...then it hit fast forward to present time. Then I open my eyes and see all my buddies looking down on me. After a few seconds to ked by..I knew exactly what happened. Right after that I started boxing and became a regional champion with an %80 KO record. That fight changed me for the better...I had a huge chip on my shoulders and my coaches used that energy to make me a champion

When I got knocked out, I didn't know I was knocked out. I remember getting hit, (I was involved in a sporting event where this is common.) going down, and getting right back up. Afterward, my friend who was in the crowd, said I laid there for a few seconds as everybody stepped over me.

I'll tell you... One time I got knocked out for about 5 seconds, but it was the longest 5 seconds of my life. So long story short, I was playing a game and my friend body slammed me. (we were on a foam mat) Well my head hit the floor and bounced a little... so when I got knock out, my eyesight started fading to black with little colorful dots spread out in front of me, I couldnt move or close my eyes... my hearing faded to a prominent ring, and my body became completely numb, I felt like just a face... When my 5 seconds was up, my hearing, sight, and feeling faded in. When I came back, my body forced me to cry, even when I didnt want to. Later that day my right knee started to hurt. It seem like when I fell, my knees hit each other... Welp, that's my story of me getting knocked out for 5 seconds.

I remember the time I got knocked out. Sensory overload is a very accurate way to describe it. It felt kind of like I'd just gotten a slight electric shock... I mean, I guess I did from all the neurons firing. There was even the same metallic taste. So, if you can handle being electrified you can handle being knocked out... Although the whole losing consciousness part is hard to come to terms with.

Was an amateur boxer undefeated and about to be pro 3 years ago. Then I got a "flash knockout" (was knocked out for a few seconds) while I was sparing an adult that outweighed me by 40 or more pounds. Along with that knockout came a major concussion, months of therapy, and the end of my boxing career. Knockouts are no joke!

I almost got knocked out once 😅 I was playing tag during early spring so there was still ice on the ground. I ran at full speed into a pear balloon pole head first, and then fell head first on ice. Luckily I was okay after a few seconds, but was a bit dizzy for a few minutes afterwards. 😅 I was back to normal and continued to play tag like it never happened. Well I was knocked out at age 10 but it was from hitting my heel on the underside of the dining room table. As soon as I hit I felt the pain and then I was out cold for about 5 minutes. This was also when I had my 1st Out of body experience. I was watching everything that was happening to me. My dad picked me up and put me in a cold shower to try and awaken me. My mom was in living room with towels that he laid me on and then he was gonna call the ambulance if I didn't wake up quickly.... I woke up before he made the call. I told my parents what I'd experienced after being "knocked" out... But my mom told me to never talk about that kind of stuff. But the heel has many nerves and I guess when I hit. It sent a shockwave to my brain and I was out.
