I wouldn't have been able to watch the window washing if this was LIVE! The way you were leaning to reach the outside panes had me shaking in my boots! I used to sit on the 2nd floor window sills to wash my grandma's windows when I was young and stupid. Your hostas are STUNNING! In fact your entire backyard is beautiful. And that new lamp for your office is AMAZING and lastly, yes, I would love a video on rewiring lamps.

Hi Sophia , I have a similar situation with my second story windows and the solution I found to work for it was to use my spin mop to clean the top window. I stick the mop out and up toward the window and mop it 😂 My neighbors probably think I’m crazy but it works.

I had the same problem with a window in my old house I got one of those magnetic window cleaner things u stick one part outside and attach the other part inside then just nove it it's similar to the ones u get for fish tanks

I think your inside window in your bedroom may be able to be lifted out - usually by pushing it to one side - and then lifting it out 🤷‍♀️ and you never cease to amaze me with all your home skills❣️

You have weird windows in the US. Here in Canada, our windows don't go up and down like yours does, they go from side to side. We lift one window out of the track to remove so we can clean. But you are a brave girl. I could never clean them at that height. Scary!

I am petrified of heights and I almost couldn't watch the window washing. When you were leaning out of that window I just knew the window would decide to tilt in and you were going to fly outside. I would really appreciate a full video on rewiring lamps. I enjoy seeing your garden get planted and grow. It looks nice. How many years since you brought in the wood chips for mulch and how much longer until they need to be replaced? I use chips I. My flower beds, but grass clippings in my garden. Mulch really reduce the weeding.

Ahh the cord management thing! Ya I hate it too! I have thought of buying lamps that have plug for phone etc in the base of lamp like the ones at jiggles you see. I see. Some on Amazon but my lamps are fairly new and I like them and don’t w at to replace them 🥴 Good idea on wall mount power strip. Hubby’s side of bed is way worse than mine.

Worth twice a year to have a company come out and clean all outside windows. I don't have tilting windows I just clean inside. That was VERY dangerous you leaning out like that the window could have given way if you had slipped. Very pretty lamp never seen one like that before, it's not a cheap lamp going for nearly £200 on ebay .

One of my older friends got a chainsaw. I said to myself if she can do it so can I. Well, I did it. I got my trees down and then promptly gifted the chainsaw to another friend. It was just a little too much excitement for me. The window looks great. I don’t know why we procrastinate on these simple projects.

There are window cleaning gadgets that can be used in high buildings where you fasten one part inside and one outside with a magnet holding them together. No idea if they work but I’ve seen them advertised.
