I’m told you should let the daffodil foliage remain until fully dry. It provides nutrients to the bulbs. The yard looks great.

Glad to see someone in the USA hanging washing out to dry. So many Americans seem to use electric dryers all year round despite having good weather many months of the year.

It s more common outside of urban areas. People tend to use the dryers in winter like we do and hang dry from spring to fall. It's easier on clothes, Bill and environment in general.

I hang dry inside year round, but outside lines aren't allowed in the place where I live.

Your front yard is looking lovely. We have hydrangeas and lots of roses too in Australia but fortunately no deer. I’ve always wondered why you don’t have any fences in the front of your properties. Is it because of the snow? Thank you for your videos. You do motivate me. I am in full declutterring mode as we are redecorating 2 of our bedrooms, one of which is my office. I have to try to unclog my vacuum cleaner this weekend and I am tempted to just go and buy another one but then I thought, ‘What would Sophia do?’ I’m sure she’d try to fix it herself!

There is no ordinance against fences I think it s just a personal style fir the region. There are a few houses , not on my street, who fenced their front. I think people don t want to be the first doing it. I jave no problem being the first if it allows me to keep a great garden.

I highly recommend you wear glasses when using the line trimmer to edge your lawns as it’s very easy to throw up small stones and twigs.

Oh Sophia, I remember a time when you had bookcases of books everywhere.....you have come so far. I love how easy you go thru them now, and the little library is awesome. Have to say again those shelves are phenomenal. And you really realise how big your front garden 8s now. It looks really nice. Much more syructure to it and the green leaves of the plants teally look thier best against the dark mulch.

Love your front yard Sofia...I recently bought 50 bags of of mulch for my front yard but I pay my nephew to to put it down. I still try to water the plants but hot around here is around about 98 degrees at about 7pm and humidity in the 60's. .. I wish that we could trade weather conditions for a week since we have a heat wave here. God bless you and yours and thank you for sharing.

What about a deck box to put things on your deck. I have several on the pool patio and one in side yard. Luckily we have Bahia grass which is tolerant and it perks right up when it rains.
