Getting to Arkaroola Part One

After four previous failed attempts over recent years, We head off to try again. In Part One, we leave Adelaide to travel to the old copper mining town of Burra before heading to the Flinders Ranges and Merna Mora Station. From there we head north in the rain with flooded creeks and muddy roads to reach Leigh Creek, Lyndhurst and Farina.
Will we make it to Arkaroola?

Hi Guys, When did you travel there ? I was there end of March early April and it wasn't to bad ?

We were there in late April. As you will see in part two, all the worry about the road was for nothing and just shows that you need to be careful in listening to other people. After four previous failures and all the rain we had received, we were over cautious.
