It really annoys me (not in a serious way but in a "fanboy who really wanted to see that idea" kinda way!) that the plan Travis and Ashley had for Fearne getting onto Glumgloat and flying away with Zathuda was SO CLEAR and fun and interesting!! and yet only Sam seemed to jump in and support the idea while Laura and Marisha seemed to actively try and lead the scene in the opposite direction!! I was so excited as the scene was playing out the amazing moments Fearne, Chetney, and Braius were having making that plan work; for Laura to then have Imogen cast the Psychic Lance regardless and Marisha use all of her magic and the kitchen sink (that Disintegrate reveal) to try and kill Zathuda like GIRL PLEASE LET FEARNE FLY AWAY!!!! Not to spread negativity, I'm just curious about what could've been the thought process behind those actions!! Hopefully it gets touched upon in a future 4-Sided-Dive!! Thanks for the recap love to see the episodes summarized in such a nice way like this, keeps them fresh for longer!!!!

I'm sorry to say this, but I don't remember seeing Ashley take initiative or make a big desicion about Fearne once throughout this campaign, and I don't think that it is a deliberate choice. Things just happen to her, and either she rolls with it, or she ignores the request of making a decision on the spot and just says "I dunno, I dunno, I dunno, lets just see what happens". It's easy to brush this indecisiveness off as Fearne just being "tricksy" or her Fey nature, but she (Fearne or Ashley) hasn't given us anything to suggest that she has been atop of things or she has been manipulating things in the background to go her way. Sorry, all this to say that I would like a confrontation between Fearne and Zathuda that resolves an arc for Fearne, and we may yet see that becasue Zathuda is their captive now, but Fearne choosing to go with Zathuda wouldn't make sence logistically (above table) either.

@@wastagwaga I don't think fearne is being tricksy so much as she's incredibly torn between several different influences: Nana Morrigan and the Calloways wanting to "keep her secret keep her safe"; Zathuda and the rest of the Unseelie Court wanting to use her as a guard dog to chase the archheart out of the feywild; Orym, Ashton, and Dorian each wanting her company in three different ways; the major court of the Primes needing champions to prevent the release of the one thing they truly fear; her own traitor heart lunging at the amoral draw of power; and Predathos' influence on all the Ruidusborn to help freeing it. Fearne is a _child_ inside, who spent a century doing whatever she wanted with _no_ consequences; and now she's been thrust into the real world, so to speak, she's paralyzed by that same hanging threat.
@GirishManjunathMusic

Travis always wants the situation that will cause the most chaos, and especially with chetney he seems to be eager to push for the cliff every chance he gets, whereas Laura as Imogen is a strong stabilizing influence on the party, and so does the thing that will get the situation over with asap: in this case, getting rid of Zathuda. it's not so much that Laura and Travis are dragging the scenes in different directions as it is that their _characters_ are playing true to form and doing what they felt was right. Laura even offered immediately upon noticing what Fearne was doing to belay her Lance if Ashley actively wanted to pursue the Zathuda angle, but Ashley said she was okay with either.

@@GirishManjunathMusic I agree with your "Fearne is a child who lived a life without consequence" argument, but in a weird way, even though both Ashley and Fearne have an inability to choose or have an opinion, I don't think this was an intentional idea for a character arc. Almost all of the characters had an arc throughout the campaign (maybe except Chetney, and excluding Braius of course), but it feels like Ashley is dodging all of the ideas that Matt throws at her, or she doesn't pursue them further.

Hi hello. So this is definitely sound strange right off the bat, but I saw your channel by chance while I was watching different channels talking about Critical Role. I got into Critical Role. I would say mid last year by chance and have fallen in love with everyone there. I am an old time nerd for like a better definition. I am a 57-year-old Hispanic male who grew up just enjoying video games and fantasy games and all that fun stuff but when I got older, I put all that stuff away and now that I am old and retired and pretty much took care of everything I needed to take care of in my life I by chance found Critical Role then I started watching all these other channels, and I came across your channel, maybe three months ago and I was going to subscribe to it because I enjoyed your review of the show. Tell your tale of the episodes let’s put it that way. But as always, I totally forgot and then I just happen to come across your video again and then I quickly subscribed to it and now I am doing my first comment I believe to your channel at least I’m pretty sure. So anyway, when I wanted to say after all of that, is that like the way you’re doing a channel it is very comfortable very inviting and I just wanna tell you. You’re doing a very good job. Keep up the good work and I will keep up with the recap episodes of yours. Also, I’m trying to keep up with the abridged episodes of campaign three but I lost track of it because some other stuff got on my way and now I’m behind on that which is ridiculous cause it’s only an hour anyway have a great time and I will be catching up on all your videos by now.

Once again, you are the best! Even though I listen carefully and try my best to keep up with the story, so often I miss things. Like I didn’t realize the god took them to a special plane of existence. And you helping walk through the story gives me deeper insight. I’m with you that I wish Ashley had gone with her “daddy.” I guess that’s what happens when playing with a bunch of others, that they can act as they see fit and at times it conflicts. Ashley seemed cool with it. And I think that Taliesin was expressing his own feelings about God when he angrily talked to the Archheart. Felt real and fresh.

The Arch Heart, being a god that can be sneaky and has within held information from the other gods before, said there was one other god that believed with his opinion but would not say who it was. It could be any of them including one of the betrayer gods. Just a thought I'm throwing out there. What if.... through self-preservation, one of those two gods that were thought to be consumed by Perdathos actually chose to run into a mortal being? Just like multiple gods chose to do and live in a mortals life before taking down Aero during a time of threat to themselves. What if... The great Travis W. is right and Ludinus is a god, possibly in mortal form, is trying to get back to his truth and his family? That would explain the intelligence and greed of Ludinus and why the Arch Heart agrees with Ludinuss plan. A plan that can get all of his family out from this cycle, including one that was lost. The gods games are in play within each other and mortals a like. Who knows what Game Master Matt M. has in store for all of us and the world he created?

The Critical Role Cooldown on Beacon revealed that the Arch Hearts proposal wasn't Matt's idea, but rather a very recent input from Abubakar. Therefore, it's reasonable to believe that Matt has no agenda whatsoever and that the future of Exandria is entirely up to the player characters.

I would greatly appreciate your insights on the plan, as I am feeling quite confused. Firstly, I sincerely hope they do not betray the Exandrian Concord. I was incredibly excited by their speeches, the titles they were given, and their stepping into the roles of heroes as beacons of hope in these dire times-essentially what I long to see. However, I must admit that I don’t fully understand how the Arch Hearts plan is supposed to work. We still don’t know how Ludinus intends to release the god eater, what he has been waiting for, or the process for becoming a vessel. How are Bells Hells expected to execute Ludinus’s plan if they don’t know the exact steps involved? In my view, the current understanding of Ludinus’s goals is far too incomplete to effectively consider the Arch Hearts plan. I would be quite disappointed if a) the gods do not grant the Exandrian Concord the opportunity to prevent Ludinus’s plan as agreed, and b) if Predathos can be controlled by mere mortals. If this eldritch horror is unleashed, I want all hell to break loose; anything less would be utterly underwhelming.

I simply do not understand why the gods are bad. Someone will always rule and exploit- why not the gods who also do good and establish balance? What will happen when they are gone, will all the souls in their domains vanish? What about their followers that have devoted their lives to the gods? I just don’t understand how the world would improve in any way if the gods were gone. Maybe I’m bias in a weird way because I am a Christian. My faith is the most important thing. It is the core of who I am. I would give up my family, my life, everything for God. The idea that someone would rip that away from me. Granted God is not anything like the gods of Exandria. So it’s definitely not the same but I imagine there are people on Exandria who have faith that makes up the core of who they are. The gods are so integral to the world their disappearance would lead to massive upheaval and death. I simply don’t understand why running the gods off makes any sense beyond Matt wanting to dismantle his world and do something interesting.
