Hang out with me as I get my bike and gear ready for an upcoming road trip. I cover what I do to get the bike ready, what gear I carry on the bike, and a few set up changes I made so I am most comfortable when cruising for several hours from St. Louis to NW Arkansas. Also check out the awesome 25% discount code for First Manufacturing. All links to products are noted in the description section. Thanks for watching, liking, commenting, sharing and subscribing. If you are a new subscriber, leave a comment below stating "I Subscribed" so I can reach out and thank you for your support. Ride safe and enjoy, Rick

A few days ago I just got home from a 6-day trip. Left Ohio. Rode to Ludington, Michigan and took the ferry to Wisconsin. Went through the Harley Museum then down to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. On my way home I wasn't paying attention and missed my exit for I-70 in St. Louis. I ended up in a sketchy area. Kinda like the Chevy Chase movie Vacation where they end up in the hood asking for directions. But my trip was all good. It's just part of the experience. But every time I go past the St. Louis arch, I sing the song from that movie. Have you been up in the arch? I was in it about 20 yrs. ago. Maybe you can do a video of that? I always carry rain gear. Even if it's on a day ride and no rain called for. If I am out later than planned and it get chilly, I can put it on to keep me warm if need be. I also carry a small tool kit, small air pump and tire repair kit. As for a flashlight don't forget the one on your phone. Try to get your heavier things lower to the ground to help with the center of gravity. Once again Rick thanks for putting out a great video.

Why not just use the tour pak with a bag inside.
@HDVIBE
@HDVIBE 6 ай бұрын
That is a good option as well. For me, I like to lighten up the bike once I get to my riding destination...so I prefer to not run a tour pack. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👊👍
