One improvement they need for the career mode is a way to take out loans. I managed to start my own company and buy my first plane and fly freelanced jobs which pay out quite well. After the second flight, the brakes went out while landing and I crashed the plane. Now I have to spend weeks if not months flying poorly paid odd jobs to save up just to pay for the repairs. I understand they need to make it realistic, but it takes the fun out of it.

The control didn't save because the profiles are different for each variant of the aircraft. So you just need to select the correct profile you want. I don't mind the control system, once I got my head around it.

Walk around becomes a bigger part of your career when you own your plane. I think that the training missions were the more educational and interesting part of getting a ppl, but because they are not mandatory, most won't do them.

It say's you can press Ctrl E to start but it doesn't stop you from starting it manually

Looks like I will never know being stuck at 97% every time I try to run this sim

They need to do something about the weather in the missions. In a lowly $960 payout mission tonight I had to abort because no matter how low I was a huge black cloud kept sucking me up into it and crashing my plane, and many missions are under huge dark clouds so I am avoiding any missions with any dark clouds because I hate bugs wasting my time. I imagine it was a bug, but I cannot stand to waste 10 minutes only to have a bug ruin everything thereby wasting my time.

Control profiles are constantly needing to be selected i career mode. Amost certainly after flying a different plane.

This is now a game not a simulator. This is why the PPL is so easy.

What’s wrong with the G1000? You said you didn’t like it

Had my PPL 15 minutes after install, yeah it's easy.

If you used a checklist you would not have taken off with the parking brake set.

Not really accurate they do have a rotate speed it’s V1, v1 is when you should get into ground effect and v2 is your climb out speed if you get to v1 and can’t get into ground effect (by a pre determined point on the airfield using the performance chart for roll distance) you should abort takeoff. There is definitely a rotation and climb speed in the POH. Even my 1962 Cherokee 180 has it in the POH.

So I guess I should have clarified more into what I was told by a CFI… specifically referencing the 172 in this conversation stated that yes 55kts IAS Vr is the speed to pull back with the intent of leaving the ground. Though he stated that he and others have begun teaching to maintain constant light back pressure on the yoke during the takeoff roll and when the wings are ready they’ll fly and can often be at varying speeds and conditions. He said this was true with most single engine aircraft. So if I interpreted that information wrong then I misspoke for sure
@Crazy88boss1Ай бұрын
@ that’s not a good practice as pilots tend to keep habits through their life of flying, when flying tail wheel for instance allowing the tail to come up helps to accelerate, keeping your elevator deflected by pulling pressure will increase takeoff roll and can cause you to leave the ground early in a gust and be very dangerous. If that’s how he wants to teach 👍 but it is not what the faa or a dpe is going to want to see. Neutral elevator till rotation use ground effect to reach VY. (VX if clearing an obstacle then VY.)

The prerequisites to do any mission is absolutely aids. Kip on the ground has been grinding for over 40 hours now. Fk this game.
