well we obviously need wind because it is more realistic and the ocean don't look bad, surely it was updated now you can command the recovery Helicopter to "follow" and choose the group object (in this case the carrier) and it works at least with me, you need to put the right values , distance, interval and alt and will follow the carrier perfectly, this video was made 4y ago so they updated for sure, the funny thing is the Helicopter in real life works the way you are doing here, the heli moves slowly around , depending on the airboss commands meaning its not static, in the end your solution is even better, cheers love your channel, probably my top 5 channels on MSFS and DCS tx for your work . 9 comments with 42k views?

BEWARE!! Next Level Racing provides NO support if the HF8 malfunctions outside of warranty. After 15 months, all the motors in my HF8 suddenly turn on at full force anytime power is applied to the seat pad. NLR customer support response was that it appears to be a hardware issue (several other customers have the same problem), but it is out of warranty and they do not sell any replacement parts or offer any repair suggestions. If your HF8 breaks (it is a weak design as other customers have discovered) outside of warranty, NLR expects you to throw out a $200 piece of sim equipment. Other sim hardware companies do not drop their customers like this!

Answer: No it will never dethrone tobii. Tobii uses hardware to aumatically translate hardware results into signal before it ever hits the pc which means the cpu load of the sensor is offloaded from the computer. The webcame further has a natural latency rate, MOST webcams are lucky if they can do even 30 fps in well lit room, tobii's sensor's fps is far higher. In short: if you DONT have any money and you DO have a webcam then you have a cheap alternative, but you certainly dont have a tobii killer.

I just purchased the PU Air Korea MCDU with all of the plates. My total investment into it is $964. $66 of that was shipping. The Main Unit will be reduced from current $349 to $299 starting the 15th and each plate will be reduced from $119 current to $99. You will get 1 free plate with original unit purchase. They did this to compete with the Winwing entry into the market specifically. I paid full price a month ago. Total starting the 15th will be around $780 including shipping. I have been using the Airbus MCDU mostly with my FBW A320nx and it is absolutely amazing. I briefly tried the 737 plate with my PMDG and it worked the same. PU Air Korea is simple to use, but does use one HDMI with a resolution of 600x480 and supports 12 aircraft currently with more to come. the best part is I do not have to switch out units if I want to fly different aircraft. Just pop off the plate that is held on by nicely placed magnets, and pop on the correct plate for the next aircraft. So my question is....If the WinWing has 4 separate units, the Airbus, 737, 747, and 777....you have to unmount the unit, get the correct one and remount it every time you change aircraft?....Cost is $544 plus shipping for the 4 units...Which is better in your opinion? And have you reviewed the PU Air Korea?....Thanks....I want the WinWing badly because of I have the full FCU and EIfis set...which works flawlessly and looks amazing.

The lack of a LED indicator for when Shift Mode is activated makes this a No Buy for me ... seems confusing to use. I prefer the Axair MIAP PRO 24 ... It has 8 rotary encoders and 13 buttons, the size is similar but the layout makes it much easier to use in my opinion (no shifting like the Octavi).

does this work for idle position as well? I have the winwing orion 2 with F-16 t-grip and when I am in the idle setting it seems as though it's much higher than idle. it makes it hard to land because I don't slow down like I imagine I should be. I have to move it to the OFF position in order to get the expected lack of thrust. it wouldn't be too much of an issue except the -16 throttle has legit physical barriers where you need to pull a lever and lift the throttle handle to get it into the OFF position. I don't notice any problems with the afterburner detent.

Winwing are great, but a lot of us are finding shipping delays and poor communication until you pester them. Their customer support sent me this message regarding EFIS delivery delays many are experiencing (I am in the UK) “Dear customer: As we have received bulk of orders recently, and carrier’s daily delivery limit might postpone your goods transportation. Anyway, we'll arrange all deliveries as per the purchase order. Thank you for your patience.” Quite disappointing, I will still order from them and their products are great, but the communication does need to improve I think. When you place a preorder that says “ETA 30th December 2024” and two weeks later there hasn’t been any updated info, far from ideal. Hopefully they will listen to feedback and improve communication. Encourage people to message winwing customer support on their website to complain if you’ve not heard anything. Be aware you need to check back on the website and log in as you don’t always get an email notification when they reply! I think KZbin flight sim influencers/reviewers should keep an eye on shipping delays and communication from winwing.

Too bad it's monochrome. A required speed or altitude would be really easy to miss without the magenta font.

I didn't think it was very good and got Open Track to work without it, for free in MSFS2024.

The biggest issue with these sim fms units are the keys. The real keys do not have click sounds.. It's more rubbery and silent. So big fail right there. The materials cost here is less than $50. I know I built one couple years ago.

Hi overkill. I got my MCDU. All connected to MSFS202 and using Fenix. Screen on sim appears in unit but none of the buttons work. PU Connect software installed and also file inside community folder. Any advice please. Steve
