3.60 PSVita 1000, enso_ex. I have the DNS on my wifi set to the 212.47 DNS and everything, iTLS full package installed, and i get hit with 'you must update the system software.' Any fix?

im having an issue where i could sign in yesterday but today my sd2vita arrived. so i had to setup that to finally install games. i installed castle storm (i think its called). its small to test so i get an error application wont start. i read its coz trophies etc need to be synced. so i go to sign in and it says incorrect. if 2 step enabled etc.. i checked online. 2 step not enabled. i also went onto a different sony site to have a device password. i try to log in then with a device password. just says i correct its driving me crazy i cannot sign my vita in at all

I get the update software error but it's spoofed to 3.73? I downgraded to 3.60 with your tutorial but even with henkaku and enso and iTLS-Enso installed it says I have to upgrade software. I also was wondering can I just take my SD card out of my current sd2vita card and put it in a new one and back into my Vita without any problems? Edit: do I need to uninstall the regular enso? I got iTLSEnso from the autoplogin II

Dudeee ty so much, i installed Eleven Music Player and while i was playing and listening to music in the background it froze when trying to switch to it, and froze the vita completely. I couldn't exit or even reboot/turn off the vita, i had to tear it down to unplug the battery, i had a moment of panic and thought it had bricked, then i rebooted and everything was fine, i started Eleven Music Player again, it told me that something went wrong and i needed to set the date and install iTLS-Enso, i read that it could soft brick if it was already installed with autoplugin, so i made a backup of ux0 and checked the certificate, then i found your tutorial on it. TL:DR it's working again :D Also could you make a tutorial about installing GTA 3/vice city/GTA:SA? Thanks!

If you already have the vpk installed, uninstall let the vita reboot then re-install, voilà. Tighten up, OP

I've been getting the same error on a completely unmodified Vita running the latest firmware, and I'm about at the end of my rope with it. Online stuff seems to work fine - I can log into PSN, access the store, and all that - but when I go to specific settings, like the privacy settings, it gives me the NW-8942-3 error (if the wi-fi works at all, but that's another story). Is there anyone who can help me with this? I'd normally not ask somewhere unrelated, but I can't even find my specific problem anywhere online. This is genuinely the best I've found.

im still having the exact same error message, ive followed this guide to perfection. i have the permanent mod installed and now im worried that my psvita will never have access to the vitastore again. is there another way around this issue? if not is there any way to back track and uninstall the permanent mod to regain access?

Not that I know of. Having HENkaku, Enso, and iTLS-Enso should get you back online as long as version and PSN spoofing is set up properly.

Update: I resolved the issue by uninstalling the full package form within the iTLS app, rebooting and then reinstalling as per this tutorial. Leaving this comment here in case anyone should run into this issue. I tried this fix (May 2024) and its not working on either of my Vita's. I'm on enso for 3.65 and have spoofed to 3.74. The settings page states that I'm logged. An internet connection test shows that I can connect to PSN but yet the Store and activation settings throw this error.

This did not work. Try playing any video on your browser and see if it doesn't say NW-8942-3. This only helps with psn slightly, it is not an actual fix.

I installed iTLS-Enso on my system and didn't have problems with my SD card. That's the good news. The bad news is that when I try to start the store, the screen goes black and I'm given the dreaded C2-12828-1 error. Restarting doesn't help, and I don't want to rebuild my database if I can avoid that, since the re-organization of files is such a pain. Suggestions?
