Great video so I am now in my 3rd year and finally got my van written and its the best thing I did 1 you get taken more seriously 2 gives you as a business owner more pride and confidence 3 you get noticed 4 free advertising day in day out 5 it reminds you not to get road rage

I had my van done two years ago, I have picked up so much work because of it, definitely worth the money. I still use a trolley system and won't charge, my brother is the same. As for the local tip, they won't let my van in as it won't go under the barriers.

Absolute must if you want your business to grow. The amount of times I've had phone calls saying "one of your vans were just in my street". Also it looks so much more professional, sign written van and employees in uniform 👌

Your signwriting on the van is very smart. I use to do Aerials and Satellite work, always had my vans signwritten, it paid dividends in the end. The Corporate image, logos on your clothing etc definitely works. I'm just stepping into Window cleaning and one of the first thing to do, is get my van logos and signwriting etc.....nice job ;0)

I think it’s a no brainer for anyone looking to grow and advertise their business and it definitely looks professional . I’m at the other end of the scale I only run a small scale operation in comparison so keeping a plain van suits me as I’m just maintaining the customers I have as I don’t have any extra days to give to the business but that’s not to say topping up the rounds isn’t a good idea due to the potential for people tightening their belts later in the year , my Facebook page and recommendations do the advertising side of things , for me it just suits to go under the radar in the area i live and work in and not attract to much attention to myself but we all have different objectives 👍🏻 all the best chris

I definitely think it's a no brainer to have your Company Name and Brand on all your vehicles. I'm proud of running my own business for the past 25 years We do exactly what it says on the tin ! p.s Just found your channel, it's great...you just gained another subscriber

I've been going 16 months, from scratch. From the beginning as soon as I got my van. I had 5 magnetic signs done, logo, phone number ,etc on the signs. They've earned their cost time n time again. Couldn't afford full livery, so took this option. 100 quid they cost me, money well spent imo

Started my own round 3 weeks ago from scratch. Had my logo from day 1 and I must say it has got me 10 jobs from people just seeing it parked up. I reckon it's a must if you can afford it. Will pay for its self.

Good video mate I'm still in a car but got signs on car and got over 500 coustmers there's so many ways of getting more coustmers it's a learning curve u learn as u go

Hi Chris, had my van signed up from day one. Definitely recommend it and it’s a big advertisement. Shows your serious and hopefully filters out those who think your desperate and will do low priced work.

Great video. After just ending my first business year I can honestly say having van signed has definitely been worth it. Been a no brainer. I'm in that way of pondering over a website. If you could do a video in the future on websites that would be helpful and interesting to hear your opinions on. Cheers. Cam

Websites are a tough one. I'll hold my hand up and say truthfully that that is not in my wheelhouse. André is a good friend of mine who designed my logo and website and he also hosts it. I might do a video in the future where we have him on and all the technical stuff I'll leave to him 😄. Thanks for the support

Defo having the van sign written is a very good plan. Getting a professional design is another difficult task. I am no good at art at any level and don't know anyone with any design skills, I should have asked you :-) We just went with plain, simple and readable - just want to come across as professional not wanting to have multiple vans etc so 'branding and logo' not quite as important. It all depends on where you want to take things. Nice subject to talk about.

I've had my van for 4 months, parked up outside a customer's house and got hit by a passing car, insurance have called it a total loss and are trying to tow it away and pay me, (nowhere near what I paid for it) I'm kinda glad I didn't spend out on livery....food for thought from the other side....

@@ChrisAddis TBH I’ve got everything I need to do a decent job - Nano trolley, 25ft carbon pole with univalve (great invention), selection of brushes, da components spray nozzle, but a van would be the icing on the cake! I’m only part time at the mo so it’s going to be a while before I can afford a van. I’ve tried posting a link to my website and FB page for your opinion, but it won’t let me post any links??
