Idk if it's the pickups, the guitar, the pedal, or everything, but that low gain sound is heavenly!!!!!!!!! Dynamic, creamy...ugh, it's amazing

Thanks Rabea. I was getting worried as there hadn't been a new OD pedal released in the last 3 hours. I am calm now, well at least for another 2 hours or so.

I have this Pedal in front of my Marshall Bluesbreaker Combo RI which is set to slight breakup! This pedal is an absolute underdog! It sounds and feels awesome! Channel one is creating a thick vintage tone, very similar to turning my Bluesbreaker all the way up, while channel one is not tight and aggressive turning my Bluesbreaker into a absolut Rock monster! Sound and feels there very 1987/59 like! Together with the spongy feel of the amp a very gorgeous sound! Pedal is really with the money!

Try using the high gain channel for a lower gain rhythm sound and the lower gain channel at a higher gain for a solo boost. :p

Badass shirt Rabea!!! 'Sound Awake' is in constant rotation! Wish they would come to the states. Close friend of my wife's family that's from Perth actually grew up with them....small world. Great video man! Keep it up!

Great tones. I’m sure it’s been done before, but I really like the second switch to change the gain stages (as opposed to a separate boost switch or tone toggle). Cool. And great playing as always 🤙🏻

Great demo; always love these videos. I really like how the pedal went from super transparent with the low gain to absolute filth with the high gain! Just out of interest, what tuning were you using on your JP15?

Great review Rabea. In your review I missed a bit how well does this pedal do, especially compared to the Ziggy v2. Could you drop a brief comment about this? Does it clean well with the Les Paul? Can it do a light crunch when plugged into a clean amp?

Yo Bea big hypothetical question : a synth company wants to use their pre-amps/filters/effects in the guitar pedal world. What does Rabea Massaad ask for, apart from a neve console in a pedal (please be imaginative)?? If the question interests you, could you ask Rob and Dave (bassists are our best friends right?) ??? Cheers fella.

why there is no more PRS love on Rabeas channel?
@dpb226 жыл бұрын
Because he works for and is a sponsored artist for a certain other guitar brand?
@vladimirpavlovic94886 жыл бұрын
Well, if it was a reason, why even playing Fenders then? He was a sponsored artist a year ago and two, and he was still playing his PRS in every video basically. I am just curious what happened, maybe he doesn't love it anymore or something..
@RabeaMassaad6 жыл бұрын
Vladimir Pavlovic hey man, I’ve just been using other stuff. I record a lot with it. Just sometimes in videos I circulate different guitars, older and newer stuff, but yeah, I’ll be sure to crack it out soon :) thanks for watching!

I must really say that the UAD box does not reach the sound quality of the twonotes torpedo. Especially distorted tones sound not like a 4x12, more like a single 4"..
@guitarlover88336 жыл бұрын
Hey Rabea, I haven't got through the whole thing yet, but at the ends of your videos could you let us know if a pedal/any guitar gear would make it on your main board/rig and if not your main then in what circumstance would you use the pedal/gear (i.e. on a back up pedal board, mini pedal board, practice board, quick grab and go board, etc.)
@guitarlover88336 жыл бұрын
zed wakefield Damn, good point. Well I guess I could always wait until another pedalboard walkthrough lol. Alright well thanks for the clarification Zed!

Pedal sounds great, really fantastic! However, I'll never understand putting 2 foot-switches on a small enclosure?.. It's not intuitive in a gig situation, I always hit both (Maybe I'm heavy footed?). Also the build quality of this unit is suspect because the washer on the right side foot-switch overhangs the casing......
@spencerfreed69476 жыл бұрын
Gary Moseley Great point! Watching on my damn smart phone (listening through my wireless headphones) I hadn't noticed that damn washer! I'd definitely be bummed a little if I received a pedal like that. It sounds really good though. Good eye!
