Thanks for doing this. The presentation gives a dimension and clarity that static maps cannot hope to emulate. I am an English wargamer and I organise American Civil Wargames (not always Gettysburg of course!). Your videos and website are a valuable resource to ensure a reasonable level of accuracy on terrain and troop deployment. As a point of interest most scenarios tend to conclude as they did in "real world". But that's wargaming not superb map videos.

Very interesting! Thanks.

Did you neglect to mention Pender's division during this phase? Pender was to the left of Anderson, not Rodes.

I trust Phil Laino's maps over Gottfried. Gottfried tries to be an expert on every battle and campaign, and in doing so, he becomes a generalist.

I agree. My opinion: Laino's maps are more detailed and more accurate than Gottfried's maps. Gottfried shows (see map 29.2 in The Maps of Gettysburg) Hill & Longstreet's corps retreating through Cashtown, when I think historians' consensus is instead they went S, thru Fairfield. Also, with Philip Laino's permission I used one of his maps in my video 'Lee Invades Pennsylvania - Part Two'.
