Awesome video. I love seeing Scotland through your lens and kayak...I live in Nova Scotia and want to visit Scotland someday (home of my ancestors). I was quite interested with Canna as I met someone in NS who lives in Canna. As always, great video & stay safe!

What a stunning part of Scotland. We spent a bit of time at Mallaig This year as we were staying down at Morar on a Farm in our Motorhome. The Weather and condition for the most part looked idyllic for the trip, as the weather is so change able and not always as forecast as we have seen ourselves when on Mull. The French Trawler was a might beast of the boat, and loved the colouration within the caves you when in. I will look forward to Part two of the trip. Hopefully one day I will be able to do similar trips myself.
@getwet501 Жыл бұрын
Thank you. Yea, you can never trust the weather out there🤣
@Simon_W74 Жыл бұрын
@@getwet501 being able to see the weather coming in is much better, as you can see if the weather is coming at you or skirting around you. We take a small flag pole and a sort of wind sock to help see what the wind is doing and use that to see what is coming our way. As well as seeming when the wind direction changes.

Have been really enjoying your videos Bob, some superb adventures. Would love to have a go at something like this but realise I’m far to inexperienced at present so will just need to follow you on your trips for now. Great commentary by the way, Paul
@getwet501 Жыл бұрын
Many thanks😁 Experience only comes with doing things in small steps. Canoe clubs are great for getting people out doing such things in bite size chunks with like minded people
@pikemaster197210 ай бұрын
Hi Bob , do you pack the trolley too or leave at slipway ( hidden )
@getwet50110 ай бұрын
Hi, this trip we left the trollys at the slipway, no need to hide them, there is no crime here😁 when I did the Eigg & Muck solo trip I took it with me and used it up and down the beaches. I can get the wheels in front of my feet, in otherwise fairly dead space, and just strap the frame to the rear deck
