Gex% - The Worst Astro Bot Speedrun

OFFICIAL MAEDOTMKV CORRECTIONS: Gex is still owned by square enix. Astro Bot was pretty fun off stream. Still a big ad but I wish my criticism was more constructive. Sackboy is also in the game. He’s the last bot in Luna Sola. There’s way more deep cuts in this game than I let on, if there’s characters i’m not recognizing the game has me beat to be honest. I also wish I shat on Naughty Dog games and even the Horizon games less. I’m sure they’re good. I can’t even say if they’re not to my taste as I haven’t played them. MAE STOP BEING REDUCTIVE 2025 I ended up 100% completing the game so I guess that speaks for itself. The final level is a Mario challenge road situation but 100x easier. I hope next the Astro has some teeth to it. The music is almost there 60% of the time but I feel like almost every song fails to stick the landing. The speedrun levels were cute, very funny the stellar blade lady is in this game. I can’t believe there’s a level where you get Sam Porter Bridges back to back with pretransistion Elliot Paige. David Cage does it again.

Nobody probably cares, but if Gex% was a real category it would optimally take 2 hours 20 minutes to reach. Hope you enjoyed Astro Bot!

7:33:05 Resident (former) Destiny fan here: The Final Shape was pretty good. The campaign was fun and the art direction was great as always (they must’ve dodged the first round of layoffs or something). I had a lot of fun doing the raid and only encountered like one guy on LFG who said a slur. Right after I finished the raid I got a pop up that was just a stretched out compressed jpeg of very expensive merch that Bungie was trying to sell me. There was no text, just a jpeg, very subtle marketing tactic. Anyways I uninstalled the game after that cuz I just wanted to see how the main story ended. I have the most free time I’ve had since 8th grade (when I started consistently playing the game). I don’t know if anyone actually wanted or needed this information but it seemed topical.

I hope nobody rigs one of Pete Parsons’s cars to explode. That would be really bad and immoral. Imagine what would happen if he was in it? That would be terrible.

I think the Gracie Abrams song with Taylor Swift is also pretty sweet and a good use of that nepo baby money. And the Sabrina special was in fact amazing, even if she didn't sing is it new year yet (best fruitcake EP song)
