Ben you are so unique, like other comments say. You have that subtle nature, very fine soul and voice, and so much to say, not for this song for sure. I would wait for you every show should you stayed. Please keep signing we want to hear you!

This part of the competition is not suited for Ben. He shouldn't have to sing songs that don't resonate with him. Nonetheless, I'm glad I heard of him now. I'll be looking for him on Spotify. Could listen to his unique voice for a longtime. So many people sound the same or have the same style, now. Ben, you're very original and refreshing.

Definitely unfair giving him this to compete against toxic, which is a much better song for unusual and creative singers. It is wildly unsuited to him. Such a bad choice by whoever inflicted it on him

She's a child competing in a show that's all adults and she was copying Alex and Sierra's version down to the tonal inflections. This is not a karaoke competition. She has zero individuality....yet. That song for Ben was ALL wrong. Not sure what Rita was thinking giving him that insipid song.

It’s RITA’S team so it is up to her and from her career on the voice she has done so well as a coach, she pushes her artists too their limits and Ben wasn’t ready, gezel maybe young but she’s so refreshing and talented and tho she might have the same style as Alex and sierra doesn’t mean she doesn’t talent it just means they are similar. She so deserved to win!

No way. Ben’s singing and the carbon copy sing was sooo boring and pitchy. Horrid sounding. Plus he had back up fingers trying to drown out the pitchiness. That was such a simple song and he still couldn’t get it.

OMG. Ben had sever pitch issues. That’s why they put backing fingers on this very generic, karaoke version. It is the simplest song to sing and he just couldn’t. Gezel’s song was technically very difficult and zero back up singers. She had zero pitch issues. If you can sing, you can sing any song.

She is way too young to be on this show with adults and also the stylized pronunciation of the lyrics is very Alex and Sierra. Copying other artists on a show like this is a sign that she hasn't picked her individuality yet.

Interesting take. It’s similar but not entirely a carbon copy she may have got inspiration from Alex and sierra but also I found similarities to Melanie Martinez version as well.

Not discrediting Gezel's performance b/c it was really awesome but if you put her performance side by side with Melanie Martinez, the arrangement of it is seems so close to Melanie's that it almost feels ripped off and less unique to me.

She is to young for the competition. She has no chance of winning this year. She should wait till her voice develops more. Ben would have slayed if he didn’t have to sing Britney.
