I have 2015 wrx with this bov.I recently changed the setting from 100% opened too 50%.The car seems too ran better and little more responsive. Do you believe this is the best setup for the fa20 engine?

Hey bro!! I also have a VA WRX (2020) with the GFB valve. I ran atmospheric as well and honestly think 50/50 ran best.

i ran all set up 100% venting 50/50 or 100% recirculation on my I30N...not difference between all of the set up...but i do believe if you adjust the spring load will help with responsiveness a bit....a soft spring load might feel a bit sluggish

Just remember when adjusting the spring load.The valve must be 100% closed before the car comes back too normal idle.Keep making small adjustments until you achieve this 👍

Flutter puts wear on your turbo, you don’t want flutter unless you want to buy a new turbo prematurely Edit: it sounds great though :)

Hi Sean, no - you will NOT need to retune your vehicle after adjusting the venting bias of your Respons. However, when venting to atmosphere, it is critical that you correctly adjust the spring preload screw to ensure that the piston is able to return back to a closed position returning to idle RPMs.

I've got a gfb response that started leaking a year ago. Only figured it out after I swapped back in my stock bov. Is there a kit I can use to repair it?

Hello, with what do i lubricate my GFB valve piston. Its the old stile adjustable one on a Nissan Juke nismo.

The piston shouldn't need regular lubrication or maintenance, usually the only time it needs it is if there is a build up of carbon, which can happen on cars that aren't driven a lot. But if yours needs a re-lube, just use engine oil - whatever you use in your engine is fine. Whatever you do, don't use grease. It is too thick and will not allow the valve to move properly.

On your website you don't support Honda but the Kia optima 2.0T uses the exact same recirculating valve as the Honda 1.5T engine. You should add it :) So part T9661 will fit any 1.5T Honda engine

Hi Red, We don't list the DVX as suiting the Honda as we had some issues in testing with the way the Honda controls the valve from factory. It may work in some cases however we have high standards for these parts and want them to work flawlessly so unfortunately we decided not to list the Honda as a fitment.

Hi Benz, great question. No, you will not need to retune your vehicle after installing one of our blow off valves. You would simply tune the valve to your vehicle instead.

Cold air intake with recirc valve definitely does give more sound than factory intake, but for maximum sound there is no replacement for atmosphere venting! It all comes down to preference - if you want subtle noise, an intake is an awesome option. The benefit of our sound adjustment system is you can have it way louder when you want it, or turn it down when you don't.

I've really been trying to tell what the difference between the two hybrid systems available for my STI. There's is the TMS (9003) and hybrid (9203). What's the difference between the two and why is the TMS $100 more expensive? Someone who really knows the difference please explain. 🙏 Thank You!

The differences between the two products just come down to the adjustability of the sound. The Hybrid can be set up as either re-circulating, atmospheric, or 50/50. Adjustment is done by installing and removing fittings. The Respons can be adjusted to anywhere in between re-circulating or atmospheric, and adjustment can be done quickly and easily by rotating a ring on the valve. No tools or extra parts are required to adjust this. Having the valve be adjustable to any ratio means on cars with sensitive MAF sensors, you can have the valve as loud as possible without causing issues to how the car runs

The fluttering sound you hear from some cars is compressor surge. This happens when the valve is not venting sufficient air, or possibly not working at all. There are ways to modify a valve to cause this, but it's not what they are designed to do and we don't recommend it

Hey, how do we get the whistling trumpet attachment to fit on the Sonata N-line 2.5 T? Currently, I have the GFB BOV installed, but it is touching my intercooler, so I'm not sure how to install the attachment.
