When I sit and listen to these teachings I always reevaluate myself, it’s not an emotional feeling it’s the fear of God that stirs my spirit. We are to congregate but these times we live in we can no longer look for an emotional feeling we need to have an awakening of the spirit the FEAR OF THE LORD so we can walk correctly. I feel so blessed that after finding Jesus, the first pastor I was lead to was Voddie…. What a blessing.. so many pastors who teach nothing biblical these days. I could have easily been mislead like so many others in their walk with Christ…. But Christ lead me to Voddies teachings .. which in turn have allowed me to practice much better discernment with who and what I listen to… if it isn’t from scripture, it isn’t from God. This was a excellent sermon. I love how he brings up how people feel they should be exempt from God's wrath when their wrong doings are due for punishment but feel others should be punished. Absolutely stood their saying that's right and Amen. Everyone has done some sort of wicked deed in life.

When Paul writes in Romans that "all Israel will be saved" in the context it is the believing remnant. Both OT prophecies and Rev teach that 2/3rds of Jews during the Tribulation will die. 1/3, the remnant will be hid away from the Antichrist and it is they who will believe at Christ's return.

I love Voddie and his powerful interpretation of so much other scripture, it just grieves me to see him circle the wagons in favor of traditional reformed eschatology (shared with Roman catholics by the way). He does it in the face of the plain text of the sealing of the twelve tribes of ISRAEL! It's also grievous to here him on the edge of mockery of the rapture of the church, again plainly taught in scripture. Disagree with respect, yes, with disrespect is sin.

I believe the names were placed in that order to tell a story with their meanings (just like the order of the armies through the wilderness, and the generations from Adam to Noah). So you get something along the lines of: Vs 5 (Judah, Reuben, Gad) "Praise/Behold the Son, the Precious Treasure." Vs 6 (Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh) "Setting right my Wrestlings, and Forgetting (transgressions)." Vs 7 (Simeon, Levi, Issachar) "He Who Hears Joins the Reward." Vs 8 (Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin) "Dwelling (with us) the Lord shall add the Son of the right hand."

144000 are YHWH's trained soldiers. They are there protecting God remnant. When Moses brought Israel out of mitsrayine I think it said there where 600,000 trained soldiers and that all together it is believed that between 3 & 5 million altogether are brought out. People grafted in by God are Israelites. The remnant that will be left will be those that 1 Believe in Messiah unto salvation , 2 engraved Torah on their hearts and kept it . Over and over a remnant God saves. Over and over other believers were grafted into the body and became art of Israel. I don't think the 12 tribes will all be together.

Many Jews still reject Jesus Christ as Messiah. The remnant must do both. They must believe in Christ the Messiah and to the best of their abilities keep and follow Torah. Question : could the 144,000, be the families, or peoples’ who are chosen to spread The Gospel? Not just a base number for who only will b in Glory.. Gods orders for the 144,000 , to bring others into The Kingdom? The enemy has tried to Jade truth, so it’s The Commanders’ orders to live by faith. ( The 5 Solas). Many are called, few are chosen (?) we war against the devil, the world and our own flesh.. we are in a war w weapons that are spiritual, not carnal.. and it can b daunting if not in step w The Holy Spirit by The Blood of The Lamb. God says that the remnant has been left , some, in every nation, expressed to every coastland upon the earth, when God exiled His ppl, leaving The Temple, when they kept bringing in idols, worshiping them ~ w God. A divorce, so to speak? Idolatry and adultery are the only reason God says divorce is allowed. When the time of the gentiles are fulfilled, true Israel will awaken, and return to God, and He will fulfill His promise. We must live by faith alone, by grace alone, in Christ alone, by scripture alone, for the Glory of God alone. 5 solas = 5 finger death punch, to the enemy. We need the help of Christ our Savior and King, by way of The Holy Spirit, called and created by The Almighty perfect, loving Father who has and is doing everything to get His family back to Himself. It’s a war, we are commanded to fight w His might, as we go,forward w courage, like Joshua, He strengthens our hearts and will b in the fight w us, for us. Joshua 1:9, we must not fear. It’s an action verb command, “as we go..” we will b strengthened , calling upon Him. After our victory, because we live from victory to victory, we mustn’t forget to give thanks to God, all Glory belongs to Him. Our fights’ our victories would b nothing, non existent w out Him. It is truly amazing to hear a 'reformer' interpret a verse by saying, "this does not mean what it says", and begins to bake a 'pretzel theological' tasty treat that has nothing to do with what he just read. He just regurgitates what he read from old reformers like the original 'Calvin', Augustine, Calvin, Luther, Pink etc etc. 99% of reformers' preaching is unoriginal and only parrot what they read from other unoriginal preachers who so twisted biblical interpretation with despicable hermeneutics that they've lost the main plot in John 3:16.

Here, the Greek reader has a step up on the English reader for the Greek word that John uses "ek" means to be kept out of, not preserved in the midst of. Obviously it cannot mean the latter as many are martyred during "the hour." The Philadelphian assembly had already experienced "tribulation." Often problems arise when general tribulation, which all of the godly suffer in the world, is not separated from "The Tribulation" which is a specific and well defined seven year period of time when God's wrath is released upon the world. As Paul notes, believers "in Christ" are not destined to wrath for Christ suffered God's wrath in our stead. The Church era was a mystery granted to Paul who taught it to the disciples and made it part of his gospel and 1 &2 Thess and elsewhere obviate.

Please understand that the "great tribulation" refers to the last half of Daniel's 70th wk as Christ Himself explains in Mt 24. This is what Jeremiah teaches as being "the Time of Jacob's trouble." For national Israel, the first half of Daniel's 70th wk is relatively peaceful because of the "covenant of death" that they have made with the Antichrist.

Well so far in this series we've been told God will judge wickedness extremely harshly. We've been told righteous people, the people who are saved, should long for that judgment, and the judgment of the wicked. Then we were told we are all sealed if we are saved. Then we were told we shouldn't ask for the day of judgment because no one would survive, which was presented as a bad thing. But it should be a good thing because I'm sealed and in your words nothing can change that. If I'm forever sealed, why would I not pray every day for that day of judgment because it will just hasten the day I make heaven? I shouldn't have a single thing to worry about on that day. There's a lot of mixed messages being sent because of the doctrine of eternal security being added into the passage, which is not at all biblical.

You are assuming too much. The imple truth is that the judgment is a good and a bad thing depending on the perspective. It's good that God will restore all things but at the cost of making a river of blood and birds feasting on the flesh of God's enemies. It's the time our glorification will be close but it's the time of martyrdom for God's people. It's bittersweet. It has nothing to do with any other doctrine. Even those who believe in the rapture can't deny the fact that the world is persecuting Christians right now and has done throughout history. Now, if you see a problem with the doctrine of our safety in Christ, it's because you are presuming a philosophy, which is seen by the nature of the questions you ask. You need to shape your understanding by Scripture and not the opposite. Think biblically and accept that the Bible does contradict our worldly philosophies. "And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day" (John 6:39) Jesus if an efficacious Savior who saves those that the father draws to him and lose none. Now, that does NOT imply man has no responsibility or doesn't need, as the Bible says, "work out" his salvation. A person who believes to be saved and yet lives in sin, without repentance, is just delusional. The good tree produces fruit. Period. You just need to think biblically and do not let man-made philosophy get in the way. We are chosen and yet morally responsible for our sins.

When studying Revelation, always let the prologue be foremost in your mind: "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show unto his servants, even the things which must shortly come to pass: and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John; who bare witness of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, even of all things that he saw. I’m going to be controversial here and I say this with a gentle spirit. There are nurseries and childcare in churches for a reason. Every semi-grown person needs to both hear and focus on the message, not your boisterous albeit dear child. Take your child out if they are having trouble being quiet. It’s not fair to ask a child to be quiet in an environment that is not geared for them. I say this in love.

I don't think that is what the teaching was at all. There is a difference between the Church, the bride of Christ, and Christians. There are people who will become believers after the rapture of the church. I think the Lord made it clear in His parable of the Wedding Feast. People are coming to the wedding, but they are not the bride. And how can we explain 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18? And "Jacob’s trouble" is not a good reference because it's a figure of speech for all the nation of Israel. Either way, let the Lord's will be done.

#1. It is the time of JACOB's trouble. Where in the NT is the Church described as being Jacob? Also, you completely misunderstand the Daniel's prophecy. Remember the first 69wks were fulfilled by "My people" or national Israel. Christ's description of Daniel's prophecy in Mt 24, Lk 21, Mk 13, is contextually ONLY involving Israel because the Church had yet to come into existence at Pentecost. #2 "There is now therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." What part of no condemnation do you not understand? We are the "sons of day" and NOT destined unto wrath. The context is not general tribulation because the Thessalonians were already suffering tribulation for their faith. Wrath in context is most definitely Daniel's 70th wk.

In just a bit less than 3 minutes I knew I needed to watch no further. There is no "secret" rapture that occurs before the 70th week of Daniel. The 7 seals on the outside of the scroll (book is a poor translation) are conditions that have to be met before the large scroll, which contains God's wrath, can be opened. Matt 24:5-31 and Revelation chapters 6 and 7 parallel each other with the exception of our Lord not mentioning the sealing of the 144K. Matt 24:29 is the 6th seal being broken. See also Joel 2:31 and pay particular attention to the word "before." Rev 6:15-17 is "the worlds" reaction to seeing Matt 24:30. The 144K are sealed and the church is raptured in Revelation chapter 7, the rapture in Matt 24:31. In Revelation 8:1 the 7th seal is broken and now the large scroll roll that contains God's Day of the Lord wrath can be opened. How is the rapture a secret? It isn't. Peter and Paul both taught it. (1 Thess, 4:16,17, 1st. Corinthians 15:50-58) Jesus said " I am going away and where i am going you cannot come, but I will return and take you to where I am." (John 14:3) Jesus promised he would. When is a matter of debate. Amilleniumism has its scriptural problems. Jesus said when he returns to the earth at the second coming, we will be with him. So there must be more than one group of the dead. Because the dead in Christ resurrect at the rapture with an eternal body. For flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. yes we used to deserve God's judgement. But Chrits died for us and rose again so we have been freed from the law of sin and death. So he took our judgement. So we are saved if we hold to the truth. If we repent and believe as Jesus announced the kingdom at the beginning of his ministry. So we are not freed from suffering, but we are freed from judgement. Jesus said in Revelations 3:10 "Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial tht is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth." Keep you from, out of, the hour of trial. So the rapture will take us out before the Tribulation. Is that a stretch of the imagination or did Jesus say it. So amilleniumists, who are my brothers in Christ, saved by mercy and grace, dont believe in the 1000 years as a literal 1000 years. Even though God promised Israel that his King (Jesus) would rule them from David's Throne. Which was always on the earth. So God promised Israel land promises and kingdom on earth promises. These are yet to be fulfilled. On the earth. During the 1000 years of peace. God always keeps his promises. He does not forget. He saved Israel so many times and will again because he promised them. That's what the Tribulation is all about. To bring an unbelieving Israel to repentance. Read all if Daniel 9. This is prophecied. Jesus himself will return, with his saints, and step down on the Mount of Olives. THe moountain will split in half and Israel will look upon him they have pierced and will be struck to the heart. Then the remnant of Israel (2/3 rds will be killed Zech 13:8) will go through the valley created by Jesus stepping down (Zech 14:5) This is also where it says "the Lord will come , and the holy ones with him. I read and believe in the rapture and I believe it will happen before the Tribulation.

The abomination of desolation will trigger the children of Israel to run for their lives. 2. The Lord‘s feet, touching the mount of olives, and it splitting into and creating a Great Valley will be so that the children of Israel the ones that are able to escape can’t run into Edom and Moab where they are nourished for 3 1/2 years. 3. He will come sitting on a cloud and reap his harvest at the last trumpet Rev 14 4. He will then come on a White House with ten thousands of His saints on white horses to execute judgment and to rule and reign for a thousand years and forever! The reason he has a garment dipped in blood is because he was left alone to help His remnant escape Isaiah 63:1-4 1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I love love love Voddie and he is a spiritual hero to me and my family. But the church didnt teach a globe earth prior to Copernicus and Galileo. Both Luther and Calvin had the harshest of words for these men. How do we escape Gods wrath Voddie? By believing on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Rom. 10:13, and receiving Him, John 1:12. And God promises in 1 Thess.5:9, " For God hath not appointed us, (true believers), to WRATH, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Then Rev.3:10 " I will also keep the from the hour of temptation". The Greek word for from is "ek", meaning OUT OF! Then Rev.4::1 "come up hither"! The church is raptured into the clouds to meet Jesus, 1 Thess. 4:16,17. Before the start of the 7 year tribulation period, which includes the judgements, and the wrath of God, contained in chapter 6 of the book of Revelation. By the way, the 144,000 are 12,000 living Jews, from each of the 12 tribes, who are saved during the tribulation, and preach the coming of the Messiah throughout the world, leading to the salvation of many. But MILLIONS still reject Christ.

Revelation is symbolic and literal, so far as I believe. The twelve tribes are taken out of order and mention sons of tribes. I can see that as symbolic. I also don't completely understand every thing mentioned about the 144k but, it does look symbolic. Maybe both, I'm not sure. A lot to unpack there. Literally, in Rev. 13, the beast will be given power to overcome the Saints. In Rev. 20:6, Blessed and Holy is he who hath part in the 1st Resurrection, over such the second death hath no power. ( literal) I certainly agree that pre-trib rapture doesn't seem to be anywhere, at all, in scripture. It even tells the Saints under the Throne to wait a little while until their brothers are killed like they were. You can't split up the Resurrection of the Saints. They go together. There's a few major scriptures that stresses that point. I do want to add that Jesus gives a Salvation warning in Revelation. So I say all this with caution. Search Revelation for yourselves. Do not take my word for it. I don't want to be held accountable for adding or taking away from the book of Revelation.

Thank you for this video... I believe we see two distinctly separate groups of 144,000 in the book of Revelation... The first group, in Revelation 7:4-8, are the Jews/Israelites who will cry out "Baruch Haba B'Shem Adonai" at the return of Christ, including the 1/3 refined by fire: Zechariah 13:9 "And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, 'They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.'" They are sealed for protection before the wrath of the Lamb unfolds: Revelation 9:1-4 "And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit. 2 He opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft. 3 Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth. 4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads." In Revelation 12 this group is described as a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She will be supernaturally protected: Revelation 12:6 "and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days." Revelation 12:14 "But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time." The second group, in Revelation 14:1-5, are the glorified saints of God, the redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb. This passage is the fulfillment of the vision in Hebrews 12:22-24, the "firstborn who are enrolled in heaven," to God, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant. 1. Both passages describe a scene on Mount Zion, in the heavenly Jerusalem. 2. Both passages picture the glorified/redeemed saints, firstborn/firstfruits in heaven. 3. Both groups are to/for God and Jesus/the Lamb. I believe this same group is previously identified in Revelation 1:5-6; 5:9; and 7:9-17, a kingdom of priests ransomed by the blood of the Lamb from every tribe and language and people and nation, resurrected and raptured out of the great tribulation.
