I am mentally ill and prayed for Jesus to get me back on SSDI after working and losing my job and as soon as I prayed about it and the next morning my disability check in my account. I just applied for a part time job to add to my income. I pray that Jesus give me a part time job. I tried going off my medication several times and it ended in disaster every time. I am not a drooling idiot and medication does work. I am not saying everyone needs it though but I know I do.

I finally found this sermon again! I wanted to passionately THANK YOU Voddie for preaching such a clear concise sermon that I’ve been longing to hear for a LONG time. I felt that slowly over time God was knocking on my door and this sermon finally did it where he knocked loud enough that I heard it, and I opened the door! THIS broke me completely as a wretched horrible sinner and I broke down and cried out to the Lord and he saved me from the bondage of homosexuality, same sex attraction, and pornography that I did for over a decade. Finally, I was saved and born again on February 10, 2024 the night I listened to this sermon in full. My life has COMPLETELY transformed since then and all the glory goes to our Heavenly Father for giving this wretched wicked sinner grace and transformative power through his word. I disagree with this sermon. I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder since 1996 and I have learned over and over that when the medications are stopped, I wind up hospitalized. The church is quick to accuse those of us battling mental illness and it is easy to dismiss it as "sin" or, evil spirits. But I feel God has purposely made some to be psychiatrists and psychologists, especially in the world we currently dwell in. Why is it any different than having diabetes or cancer? Are those afflicted with other medical issues considered sinful or overwrought with demons? No. So, why should mental health be any different. I encourage anyone hearing this sermon NOT to go off of your medications. This can be fatal and dangerous and a major cause of suicide today. It is highly naive and ignorant to dismiss mental illness the way Baucham does here.

Basically, allow homosexuals their ‘thing’ and make it legal, the CHRISTIANS become by default criminals for disagreeing with their behavior which is stated in the Holy Bible in Romans and Corinthians as well as and not to mention Sodom and Gomorrah and the fire and brimstone bought down on these evil sinners by God for their behavior. I am a sinner and the worst of them all so cannot point a finger as I myself have done all things that I am ashamed of and can only beg forgiveness from Jesus. I am a statistician and wanna bring out to this platform what has been going on in the social science research discourse. Y'all may want to know about the behavioral scientist Paul Dolan and his 2019 study "Women are happier without children or a spouse" Thing is, his findings and conclusions of his study suggesting that "women are happier without children or a spouse" received massive financial support for results dissemination on various platforms: Mainstream media, Social Media, Print Media, workshops and conferences etc. The funders then sought for him and others to do another study this time intended to demonstrate that "homosexuality tendencies was a biological phenomenon" and must be accepted as a natural way of life. However, hard empirical evidence found that "Homosexuality and Gay behaviours has nothing to do with the biology but that it is learned behaviour that has no any credible scientific evidence to its claims. Then what happened? Y'all guess is good as it can be. The funders quickly asked that the results should not be disseminated nor the study mentioned. This is why many of you know nothing about it. Had the study found that homosexuality is a natural biological phenomenon in which people have no choice about it, then, your TV screens would have bored you with that "Breaking News" 24/7 even for days and days. But you know why most don't even know about this funding? Because, the empirical evidence works against the funders who want to control a certain narrative so they kept their mouth shut. These studies are heavily funded by those who have the Gay, LGBTQ, Homosexuals' agenda and really require a statistically minded person to interrogate their methods and findings.
