Disney does an amazing job with special dietary needs and safety. It's one of the reasons we eat there so much as locals. We feel much safer, and the food is always wonderful! Glad we could share our experience at Satu'li Canteen with you! 😀

We really enjoy Satu'li Canteen. I usually order the hearty greens with tofu and an extra side of the tofu with that creamy herb sauce!!

That's a great pro tip on ordering an extra side of tofu. We might need to do that next time because it was SO good! 😊

Great timing! I just saw Avatar in 4K HD 3D on an enormous screen last night, so I'm in a very Pandora-y place. I love Satu'li Canteen! The food is SO good! On this trip, I only have room for one AK restaurant, and I haven't been to Nomad Lounge yet. I wouldn't be heartbroken if my friends said they'd rather do quick service and we went here, though. (Well, maybe a little heartbroken.)

Love it! And Brandon is jealous that you got to see it! Both Nomad Lounge and Satu'li Canteen are both so good. Pro tip: If you want the GF churros, you can order them together if you decide to go to Satu'li Canteen instead! 😊

@@glutenfreedairyfreedisney it was so good! I know it gets a lot of criticism, but let's just say I'm *exactly* the target audience. I love action/SFX-heavy movies and it's easy to make me cry. 😆 That's an awesome tip about getting the churros to go!

@@glutenfreedairyfreedisney The 3D was spectacular and immersive. Cameron absolutely does it right, because he doesn't just go for "helicopter blade comin' atchya" gimmicks. I had actually forgotten to grab my 3D glasses, so I had to run to the theater lobby and back between the "put on your 3D glasses now" and the movie. I made it back to my seat during the scene where Jake is on the shuttle to Pandora, looked at the screen, and immediately gasped out "holy sh*t!" It adds so much depth to the setting. I have not always been a huge fan of 3D. I saw Black Panther in 3D at a theater where we had to sit closer to the front and on the end of the aisle. The 3D glasses were more like the ones you get at Disney shows (cheap with small, easily smudged lenses) and unbeknownst to me, my nephew had just gotten glasses that week. But in the hands of the right director, and under the right circumstances, it's an amazing and underused technology. Sorry. I know I'm babbling. But I think James Cameron does some of the most beautiful and imaginative world building I've ever seen. Admittedly, the stories he wraps them around can be a little basic and I can think of several things I would change, but I generally prefer entertainment that I feel rather than think about.

@@jpet71 Love this! Brandon will enjoy reading this, as he is a huge fan of 3D (we had a 3D TV at home but it died about 6 months ago) and can talk at length about it. We randomly just saw Jaws (the OG) in 3D and while we were both really skeptical it would look good and make sense with the film, they did a great job, and we were both highly impressed by the 3D watching experience! And, Brandon loves James Cameron too and he said if anyone can bring 3D back, it's him and the new Avatar film!
