I was wondering if I should something like an echoplex or this. The tape emulation sounds really good to my ears and the ease of use of this will complement my DD8. A bit confused on this one. There's also the lucky cat from JHS at that price point which looks really cool.

It doesn't, that's only on the digital mode

compare to the clockwork v3, whats the difference and which one do you recommend?

This is the same delay modes with updated signal processing, but the downside is it has fewer modes. So if you're looking for a specific mode on the Clockwork that is not here, get it. Both sound fantastic
