Just for the record, I think you should have a 2 week Gfred break. Then restart with 2 leftfield, slightly nutty, jovial Gfreds, then back to usual, just my thoughts (4 weeks is too long, it's part of my Sunday evening, just some more thoughts).

Use the handbrake to come to a full standstill. Rev the engine against it, let go and you'll get a few meters. Then handbrake standstill again before starting to slide down. Rinse and repeat. Used to do some rockclimbing with the sandking in this game. That trick helped me get up place momentum couldn't. ( Long time ago tho, donno if they changed the physics)

GFRED SUMMARY SERIES Gfred #216: G-PHred - Tuners and Josh’s First . . . . SPOILER ALERT So after a Random Race with RON cars filled with rants about RON and Globe Oil, it’s time for the Gfred with the cars from the new LS Tuners Update. But before that, Broughy took a brief break. Also, sorry if I struggle with this one, because my internet had been not well recently. Josh said upon his return, “My internet died coz it does at 9PM every 5 days (don't ask) and that made my game crash and then the slot got taken *shrug*” And to answer Barracuda’s question, cars with both RON and Globe’s logo are quite rare. Mild said “Now just tell me when you want to do another RON Race” Cataleast said “They've our custom handling, though, so forget all you know” Josh said “Oh right everyone left, yay” for a special Gfred race that he’s about to enter. Broughy thinks that speedrunning Gfred is up his alley, but upon saying that Josh doesn’t know what Gfred is, Broughy just advised him to follow everyone else. Broughy mispick the regular FiveM Tuners class until he almost settles on picking the Futo GTX as a startup, which is on Classic Sports A. But then Erpetter said “Should start with that Journey Tourer” which is a brilliant idea. At least this Journey is permitted to be taken to the lighthouse and swimming in FiveM is always slower anyway. “Everyone will be journeying to the first checkpoint” And please Josh, don’t make this race not been on KZbin, but there are 200 Videos of Gfred in KZbin. But what’s use in trying to watch it first, Josh has no 20 minutes to spare before the race. Verdilith donated “Welcome to "Tuner FRED!!"” and once again, he broke the Vow of No Gfred in Off-Season for this race. And Broughy hit a tree before he could put his journey on the water, with some help from people’s bumping. He struggles to get to the checkpoint with all the traffic around so he has to bail out. And with several jumps and climbs over the Journeys, he succeeded. Maybe it’s quicker to just swim after all, with all the mess left behind. Still, that Journey Tourer has fulfill its intended purpose. Josh said “Just follow he says. What if I’m first?” and Broughy tell him to get to the freeway and grab a car. Then he realized that Josh may not know where the Quarry is. Then Broughy mentions the news of the incoming Random All 100 at early September, and it’s better to put the Gfred here than later. It works the same, just the weeks are shifted. After a Windows-related Dad Joke, Dinmite said “This is going to spark a new passion in Josh to hotlap Gfred” But… there’s no cars on the Freeway, literally. Mastah ran off in a Euros, then Benny glitched behind him in a Bison. Silent Shift said “The traffic will be dripfed” then there’s also a Caddy. A Vecter just ran past him, so this is perhaps one of the worst Gfred start ever. Five minutes without any car. He eventually found another lone orange Vectre to take. So good news to drive a Dripfeed car. So in the end he allows people to take Bison if there’s nothing else, no cop cars still however. Now a pack of Dominator finally showed itself. Broughy likes this BroughyOrange-like color of Vectre, but he needs to unlearn this car’s Vanilla incarnation, so Calico wouldn’t be OP despite being AWD. Josh is seen in the Jester RR. Now Broughy introduced Joshimuz, a co-host of the Podcast, and a 3D GTA Speedrunner who doesn’t know anything about GTA V. Never thought to see the day when Josh speedrun Gfred. Vinible said “I was watching Josh's videos before I found you” as Broughy reminiscent Josh used to ask him what’s the fastest car in the game for speedrunning GTA V at launch. Josh said “Idk the map. I stopped coz this game sucks” and Broughy doesn’t disagree. He saw the leader Hak in his Vectre already going to Chiliad from the Pillbox Interchange. He thinks he’ll keep the Vectre until he found an RS Classic or something. Then he promoted the Podcast link. Broughy mistook an ASP for a Calico. Phil said “pls tell Josh about the airport jump” but Broughy would rather him witness it himself, and go to the parkade instead of blowing up trying, especially for his first experience. Broughy wandered about the Previon, so he made a foolish decision to take it, in the interest of trying different cars. He wouldn’t win anyway. Of course, he had to mention Previon being the first Coupee added since 2016, this thing instead of so many cars before it. Definitely slower though. He wished that HKR could be as good as Yosemite or something, and there’s a lot of GTTs including one that he rammed into. Realizing that Vectre is an AWD and it makes an even worse mistake to ditch it, he bailed and take an RT3000, and somehow, this is even slower. He decided to grab a GTT on Senora Road next, but Benny in his white ASP immediately killed him as soon as he gets out. He can only laugh at the tragedy. Back to the Previon from the Parkade we go, and that counts for a Drinking Game. It’s the exact same color too. Ironically, he now grabs an ASP as soon as he exits the Airport, deciding to pick as many cars as possible. Currently there’s 4. Sadly, Benny decided to wait for Broughy when he doesn’t need to (it’s only applied in the freeway at the start to make people careful when getting the car) ASP is good on top speed but it may not be good at Chiliad. He never got the chance to try out GTT however. That Single Player Sentinel he just passes, that one is not allowed, as well as the Panto in his last excursion in Senora Road, and the Coquette Classic that usually hang around the Parkade. He saw Hak and Mastah again going to the Observatory. He also didn’t realize that he left the Chat on as he claimed the small bridge from a frontrunner first. Josh said “I drove to the lake and had to go around the other side.” Benny’s running and Broughy berated Josh for ignoring his warning. Maybe Benny got his Karma, and ASP rode the rails very nicely. And he passed Dubba’s Vectre that immediately got taken out by Fire Down. He may struggle up Chiliad, but he’s gonna be better than Ted’s R3K. And of course, Dubba flies off easily, it’s the best car seen so far and ASP failed when its so close. So, he has to bail out, quite far down. Then Josh rammed him off in the middle of the struggles, what a scum, and Mastah already won. Now his only goal is to beat Josh, it would be embarrassing to be beaten by a First-timer who takes a piss on him. That’s it, career over, no more Gfred. Josh said “I was trying to bump draft” and Broughy believed that only because he’s a nice guy, but he can’t lose to him. Phaed said “To illustrate how powerful AWD is for chiliad, the stock AWD Picador can make it up with this route (at least on PC), but this can't” AWD is always the key against low-grip muscle car like ASP, and he’s alone in the back. This is why Off-Season exist, otherwise Gfreds after 3 months in a row will go horribly. Somehow though, he still makes up Chiliad before Josh did. James Wattu said “No this is a GREAT Gfred” enjoying to see the misery for bailing out of the Vectre, as he spinning in the Descent. Cataleast started #Content. And no, Josh, bikes are always banned. And sadly, in his attempt to take the forbidden vehicle, his RR despawned. Now he leaves the chat On again for this nightmare of a Gfred. He lets everything out. Hammer said “Experts in their field” To answer Josh’s question, the next marker is at the Observatory and he has to go back to the train track. He killed a third animal on the Chaparral, as well as the resulting outrage. Now Josh starts questioning the No Bikes Rule. Josh may be an expert in 3D GTA and iRacing, but he never does GTA V including Gfred. What a race this one though, and he might as well switch to not-Comet, Growler. Kand said “It’s a Weevil” Phil said “Teach him the ins and outs of Gfred during the next podcast” but Broughy thinks it will be a boring one. Growler could be pretty good in Gfred though, but Vectre still the best. Growler is not AWD however. Surprisingly, despite the lack of expectation, Hail Mary doesn’t go to hell, one of the best even. Secret Power asked “does josh know about Gfred spirit” And no, No Respawn here in FiveM. Then it seems that Josh got killed by a cougar, it’s MILLIONS TO ONE!” Broughy finished 21st by the way. Hak got 2nd, Fire Down and Dubba claimed 5th and 6th. Kand got 14th, and Ted got 20th. Benny then show his POV on the murder to Discord. Broughy would have DNF if this is Vanilla, so this is a perfect place to take a break from Gfred. Keeping the Vectre might get him Top 5/Top 10. Josh may never do Gfred again though. Condoreo said “Should have kept the coupe, I got up Chilliad with it just fine” Benny said “Josh tried to give me his car in the tunnel too” showing that Josh is genuinely nice but Gfred is a cruel mistress. And there’s people who ganged up on Broughy for doing badly, for never doing it themselves realizing how difficult it is. In the end, the death by Benny was the fault of a FiveM Lag. Znezz said “This was my 2nd Gfred & it went even worse than my first D: it's not easy” Broughy asked Josh to put him out of the misery or wait until he’s finished last, and he DNF himself. Timington said “I took a dominator up Chilliad but blew up on way to Zancudo then died on parachute, pick up Broughy’s dominator that blew up on Zancudo jump then I made it” Barracuda said “Now you two can talk about Gfred on the podcast 😊” Don’t let Gfred tarnish his FiveM experience. Josh said “I see how it can be fun but not when you don't know the map (both GTA:V and race) and mechanics lol”
