Just for the record, I recorded this show at The Rat when I was there to see David Peel. I gave him a copy of it sometime in the early 2000's and it got to some guy named Jim Paradis who took claim for recording it. His credit on the EP and Discogs site are incorrect.

Thanks for recording this! I would not be listening to this if it weren’t for you, sir.

@@steveburgandy2680 You're very welcome Steve. I recorded a lot of shows over the years, largely to listen to in my later years (now), but also to share with people. Some have been used by major artists, but mostly they circulate among friends. It's cool to see that there's such a following for GG and that this turned out to be (so far) the only recording of the original Jabbers lineup.

@@leahflower9924 Dee Dee played in the murder junkies for about a week. They were driving around nyc in the tour van when a completely wasted GG decided to start throwing beer bottles out the van window at hookers and then Dee Dee quit the next day.

@William Lynch You need to get in touch with Blood Orange Records / "Güs Sissüm" aka Johan Gustav Ströhm & Black & Blue Records / "Dick Urine" aka Peter Yarmouth and let them know you are the original source of this live from the board tape so they can right this wrong in future reissues of this record...

Pretty amazing quality, his voice was fantastic early on! So much talent that sadly became a shock novelty later. Rest in peace G.G.

This recording is pretty damn good quality recording of the jabbers live wow. They sound so tight as a band and GG’s voice is sounding pretty spot on to the record.

Top stuff. Thanks for recording and posting this. Band is tight, and Rob Basso's guitar sounds absolutely superb. Pity GG got lost in all the fighting and self-cutting and shit-flinging, cos his early musical output was phenomenal.
