I just played it on the piano. Her highest note here was Ab5 which was her highest note in Through the Fire also. She hit that note seamlessly in Through the Fire but here there was a strain in her voice. Why? Because she was not ready to sing that note here. First because she was unprepared for her band's challenge. Secondly because she was not actually too familiar with this song. Thirdly, the word she was singing was magtitiis, which is the hardest vowel to sing in the high note, the letter i. Even then, whats amazing is she didnt crack her voice. This was actually very brave of her to do not caring whether she cracked or not. It just shows her security in her abilities as a singer. Brava Gigi.
