Very tough day for winners. Well done Andrew with Wakool, and Daryl with Shishkin (my only winner of the day). Two other Belgians of note (characters not real ones) are Tintin and Hercule Poirot.

Ref DC's comment about Sholokhov getting stayers. His best 6 include Shishkin and Bob Olinger but the other 4 are Don Cossack, Sounds Russian, Kruzhlinin and Dell'arca. Shishkin's biggest misfortune was winning the Supreme. If like Best Mate and Sizing John he'd placed, then the Broadway novices/Gold Cup route would have beckoned. Don Cossack got better the further he went.
