The last layer of the blluish green (teal?) really saved the colors. It was looking a little flat and muddy until then. You might use some sponge technic to give it some additional texture and depth.

That's a great idea! In the end I decided against this as (it's difficult to see these details) theres some nice wood grain texture coming through too, so I didn't want to overdo it! Thanks for the support!
