My gosh I was using double thread no wonder it got tight in the beads lol. I see you only thread the needle but use one thread it took me hours to get the pattern, not this one another one but I learned it!

Thank you for the sweet compliments! I am glad you like the projects. Yes, only one thread. If you use Nanofil or Fireline, it is very strong and doesn’t need doubling, you sew through the beads so many times that it just not necessary and it makes the beads very tight. I know when you first start bead weaving it is a lot of work and there are so many little things to learn, but it sounds like you are figuring it out! That’s fantastic!

Happy New Year Gina! Why do we bypass the 11/0 on connecting unit?

Because it places the bead in the proper position, it’s a connecting bead but also part of the original shape, in the original stitch the 11/0 seed beads are place in between the other beads. Bypassing it puts it in that position. Hope that makes sense.
