Also, the film isn’t pitting veganism against the church, but more so examining the ethics of animal sacrifice and discovering there is a religious hypocrisy (in many different religions). The cover-up is overhyped and there are some details I disagreed with but the main points are very powerful. ie The church avoiding the theological thread of vegetarianism in Jesus and his Jewish followers teachings. Examining animal abuse and the ethics of how we use animals is an often ignored theological conversation… maybe because animal use/abuse and consumption is nearly ubiquitous?
