I miss the Nurse's Ball. Hope the new Head Writer will bring it back. Anything to get Luke and Lucky up on a stage together again. Every scene of Jonathan and Tony is pure magic. They are amazing together.

There're plenty of things I miss about vintage GH - good writing, PERIOD, is at the top of my list! I have never seen such kaka masquerading as 'entertainment' as in recent months, compliments of those hacks over at ABC D!

I believe the Nurses Ball moved from the soap GH to Port Charles when Lucy left GH. I just youtubed a dance number from the Ball and all the people were from the soap Port Charles.

You may have seen a dance number with characters from PC but if I'm thinking correctly, there were a few years where the Nurses Ball was shown on both GH and PC. Since PC was new at the time, they used the Nurses Ball as a way to get people to watch PC as well as GH. I liked Lucy, but for me the best part of the NB (besides the acts) were the great speeches that Robin gave each year. Now that she is on daily it seems stupid not to have the NB every year.

Especially since Sonny and Jason were so close to Stone. Lucky, as I recall was also good friends with Stone and the Nurse's Ball meant a lot to him to Nik would help out, right? I always looked forward to the fun and touching moments of the Ball and hate that it's not a part of GH any longer. Whoever is writing the show should think twice about not doing this. We would miss Lucy but she wasn't the entire ball.

This is the Luke we love...not what is going on in the story line now...GH is killing the spirit of Luke...who we fell in love with.

I could be wrong, but they supposedly 'lost' the funding for the Ball, which is horsesh*t when you've got so many multimillionaires living in that town: Sonny, Jason, Nik, Jax, the Q's! C'mon! Or maybe they thought it wouldn't be the same without Lucy? Which is a cop-out.
