Yes, skullders is an amazing item, the defence alone for a tp sorceress is extremely high and makes it so when tping around through dangerous packs many miss completely.

from 20 years of d2 experience I'm going with titan's revenge works on any zons weapon swap; it used to be a very common tactic for pvp to help with desynching your guided arrows, commonly combod with a stormshield for added survivability in fights. realistically its a must have in any zons stash.

I always find mine in a very weird place, so far I found three Maras since resurrected launched. One from a pot in Stony tomb one from a dead body in cow level and one from a random trash mob in halls of the pain

The funny thing is that I have or had almost all of these items (except for arachnid mesh, SoJ, Mara and Shako) some of them I still keep in my stash, and others were sold because they didn't fit my build, I have 3 raven frosts, 2 andariels visage. But I never found a single damn unique javelin for my amazon.

I started play D2R since release - all seasons in, including current one, about 7-8 characters 85-93lvl, dont get a single Shako H.Crest yet.😅 But today got a Windhammer with pretty good roll - 221%(180-230 range). First one since release. Runes drops also pretty poor for me - 1 Mal, 2 UM, 1 Pul, 4-5 Lems,and lower ones. No Ist, no Gul, no Vex, no Ohm in current season.

There's a difference in a skill granted by an item that says it procs on 'striking' , which requires a physical melee strike, and on one that says it procs 'on attack' which will activate with spells belonging to mages like the Sorc, and this is why the hellfire on a Hellfire Torch (which is on striking) doesn't work with mage spells.

I'm bummed. Upon dying, in Hell difficulty, I lost my main weapon: the kuko shakaku bow. Now, I'm trying to repeatedly farm Thresh Socket, hoping that it drops again. There's conflicting opinions as to whether a unique will drop twice, in the same playthrough. I figured it out... the bow essentially accounted for about 25+ levels, due to what it added. Hell was hard enough, with it... and now, without?

If you farm the right monsters enough the item will always fall. Might take a thousand runs but it will eventually. In the meantime you will get some nice loot in the process

Also if you include magefists (which is absolute legit) you should also have included nagelring and frostburns. Imho would have been a better fit than WTs, Tomb reaver, CoA and Arcaine´s.

Lo is a rare rune, it drops pretty much anywhere in hell but extremely rarely. I got mine on my barb in single player running Sewers Level 2 Super chests in Act 3.

How come I find rare rings that have plus skills to other classes, except for paladin... I feel like any ring that gives plus all skills to any class, that specific class is a sub par class like assassin or barbarian. I have 2 rings 1 to Amazon skills and 1 to assassin skills.

Well it's more or less that there are no boots runewords. And very few hat runewords. If you look at my list as a whole you see that it is dominated by items that consume slots runewords don't. Which is very telling at how powerful runewords have become.

I talked about griffons at the beginning, it's a great piece but extremely niche. Only two builds in the entire game use it. Where as multiple builds over multiple characters use razor tail. The other thing which I explained at the start is extremely niche items were left out of the rankings. This ranking is about an items overall usefulness.

do u ever try pure holy shock paladin not with dream. just put6 facet pb, 4 socket armor with facets, diadem with facet, and shield with 4 facets or better shield with ofensive auras and facets. u have a lot enemy resistence and around 50-60k dmg on zeal and 5k dmg per holy shock aura, with new sunder charm and off skillers all die mutch more faster, not even neeed conv aura and u slay all more fast than dreamdin

Death's fathom is not good, the Lightning Skill Damage, and Fire Skill Damage are basically useless due to how they interact with Fire Mastery, and Lightning Mastery. Other than That Death's Fathom is inferior to a lot of other items you can put in that same slot. Conversely Mage Fists are the only gloves with +1 fire skills with no competition. They are also one of only 2 gloves with Faster cast rate. So yes Magefists one of the best. Death's Fathom Sucks balls.

Great video as always. I am surprised that Raven Frost didn't make the list or honorable mention (oops #13 my mistake). It ends up getting used by practically every non sorceress character until they get enigma. Because I play legit I almost never have Enigma and really almost never have Raven Frost. I am a huge proponent of the Rhyme shield (especially in base @45 Paladin shields). That's 70 @res (no fire res dip like Spirit), Cannot be Frozen, As much MF as you can get in a functional shield, and really good blocking stats for a low dex max block especially with Holy Shield. I really can't praise Rhyme highly enough and people sleep on it and put it down like its C tier. I say its High A tier, with Spirit and HoZ being S tier. Rhyme is a perfectly acceptable Shield for running ubers. Most easily acquired and cheap source of CBF along with all those other benefits. And allows for diversity in the ring slot. Yes please.

I like Arkaines Valor but honestly no one wears it over enigma or chains of honor. i would have picked griphons in this list over arkaines any day. makes no sense.

I see Arkaines used in plenty of builds since sunder charms. Getting one extra Facet is important. Arkaines is the only armor that lets you have another facet and keep +2 skills. I stand by this choice 100%. Chains is great, I love it but when I am trying to eek out a bit of extra damage from an elemental build it doesn't allow me to do that. Enigma is a choice to deliberately go with a weaker armor for the sake of speed. As for Griffons Eye Diadem It was less universal when I made this video. It didn't work with traps, and it was only BiS for a few builds. Then they fixed the issues preventing it from working with traps and other stuff like mosaic sin, Which opened it up a lot more, and it became a more widely used unique. If I remade this list today it would definitely have a spot.

I would shade out Mara's and put Harlequin in no 1 instead. It says a lot that nearly all of my endgame characters wear a shako. Res all on mara is important but becomes less important the richer you get (charms and such). The problem with mara is only two important attributes. It is great but not no 1 imho.

Basically none of my end game characters wear a shako. As I explained in the video Shako is Basically never best in slot for any build. There is always a better helmet that you could be wearing. Griffons, Nightwings Veil, Crown of Ages, ect. It's a nice hat but it's completely outclassed by other options, and the only thing it really has going for it is Magic Find which can be gotten easier elsewhere.

@@GGMentor Maybe i am biased because i try to give as much MF to every character as i can. They are bis for MF builds. They also have the advantage over rare helms in that they boost CTA shouts.

I would also say they have the edge over Griffin or Flickering in hardcore builds (another bias of mine as i only play hc).

@@Parasmunt you realistically don't need more than 200% magic find on any character. Diminishing returns set in very fast and it's been agreed pretty much universally that anything over 200% is mostly a waste unless it's free(no diminished kill capacity or defensive stats) In HC I can understand why you would choose shako, but then again I feel there are better options defensively. Also and I can't stress this enough HC has different rules, and this entire list would be different if I was doing a HC list.
