The boss damage is insane. I easily cleared the trash mobs (blizzard sorc CC's so well), but then the bosses would come out and absolutely crush me. Repeatedly. So tomorrow morning I'm going to theory craft the tankiest frozen sorc that doesn't use the Melted Heart of Selig.

@@KilenMaster Nah, just had to go back to the drawing board and prioritize tankiness over damage. Once I did that things went better. I'll make good progress today. Would be NICE if Blizzard could (for once) release something that isn't bugged. First they nerfed the glyphs and cross play is bugged, so I can't run with my buddy. But I'll do okay solo with the tankier ice sorc.

The tooltip is fixed, a bugfix patch was released shortly after the main patch that addressed this and the glyphs losing a level or two.

Personally I dropped exploit, I use metamorph and prey on weak to apply vuln with +4 evade boots. Works pretty well but you have to group up a bunch of mobs before you dash through them to not waste your evade charges

Not too big a fan of the fact that this game forces you to build a tank. What kind of tank is up to you, you can build a pure tank or more of a dps leaning tank but if you don't build a tank you don't get to do the highest content. If I want to make a character with 25k damage and 5k armor that should be a viable playstyle. Sure, it should come with it's own set of challenges but it shouldn't just be outright impossible.

The grind in this game in general is off putting when these items come out . I wont be trying for this myself .

I'm kind of tired of hearing people say things are easy when they have a shako. If you have one of the rarest and best items in the game then maybe your opinion is out of touch with most players.

If I didn't have a shako I would be using might aspect which is also 20% damage reduction. Not much could change except losing a bit of hp, and a tiny bit of damage. Tuskhelm of joritz the mighty is actually better for my build over Shako, just less defensive.

Sounds like they added literal bullet sponges to inflate content and playtime. Seems like blizzard is a huge fan of BF skinner designs

I think it's important to give feedback on this kind of stuff, and they are requesting it as the abattoir of zir is literally a seasonal event that goes away at the end of season 2. so if you dislike it go be vocal about it on their forums and social medias.

I mean I did have fun, against my expectations. Honestly I thought it was gonna be nothing more than a greater rift from D3. But there's something I can't put my finger on that makes it more fun than a D3 rift. Perhaps it's just that this isn't D3 and so even copying something like Grifts from D3 into D4 changes it fundamentally because well it's not the same game. I suspect in time I will get bored of them though.

Spider Man 2, Resident Evil 4 and Alan Wake 2 have GOTY Worthy End Game features. D4 is better than 98% of the other trash out their. And I’m very glad D4 and PoE are NOT the same game. Even though most people want them to be.

Pushed to T12 and stopped pushing and went to level the glyph. Almost level 10 but it’s gonna take such a long time that I don’t even wanna play it since it all goes poof in a month. I wanna play PoE

Think that's been my issue with Diablo and the seasonal model in general, too many things in this game take entirely too much time commitment and then poof, gone in a few months...wish some things carried over like Uber uniques for example

This Zir content is absolute junk, what a pathetic attempt by blizzard at endgame content. D4 needs to take a lot more from D2 for me to really get back into it
