Another thing to note about attack rating on this character is that conviction has -enemy defence % which significantly helps your chance to hit. This build is a blast!

Im loving all the principal builds, but as someone who also plays a dream paladin, i will its one of the few builds where I feel like dont need more damage. But the physical zealer on the hand needs all the help it can get. Anyway I appreciate the silly builds.

A barb Marc with plague and hustle would be nice for the auras, then you just have the problem with him taunting.

You would start as a native holy shock user yes, than once you get dreams you would respec into the dreams.

You didn't used zeal in the IAS calc , you used standard attack. 4-frame zeal has 5.2 attacks per second not something over 3 per second . So you should have about 40 percent ish more holy bolt damage per second than you calculated. ( not sure sure if it was mentioned )

I run a cold A1 merc with my dream paladin. A guy hostiled me then died in 1 shot to my merc standing on the way point.

Just FYI. You don't need any attack rating if your weapon has ignore target's defense.

You could yes, You don't need the IAS though, nor the physical damage as this isn't really a physical build. Also you should already be hitting the max zeal breakpoint easily

Is it just me or should they change all the “chance to cast” to be a low percentage like between 1-10% but make the level of whatever is being cast like level 30 or something… I feel like there could be some cool builds and stuff if they do that

May be act 3 mercenary but with light damage to be all light, and with the conviction aura it would great.

Having act 1 merc with level 15 fana aura your attack rating will be better

+% is very ineffective if you have very low Base Attack Rating, also Fanaticism would be less +% than Enchant Level 15 Fana is +110% The Enchant on that merc is +400+% pretty sure I show it on camera at some point.

Or you could run an act 2 blessed aim merc with infinity and have a high level fanat yourself. This would be good if you have an infinity on another toon you could swap between, or if you don't want to spend the runes for a potentially low-rolled faith. Cheapest yet extremely effective option is the a3 merc. Plus a3 merc needs some love too.

@@OLONOODLE this option is also less attack rating. Conviction has huge negative Targets Defense at cap(25) switching to a lower conviction would mean I would need a lot more attack rating.
