Don't usually see someone put this much of a fight up against Dany. Not to take away from PepperySplash, but I wonder if Dany's not used to fighting characters with a better speed/range combination, since for a long time, Ky was one of the best in that area.

ky can time a meaty 5k that's safe from reversals. definitely calculated, but ky also just has an easier time of baiting it.

​​@@user-jb1ic3fb4dIt can also be used as a meaty after a grab in the corner with the same intent. 5K OTG > Dash Cancel > 5K with a good timing is completely safe from reversal supers, with a good space can beat grab, beats mashing, is slightly plus and can be confirmed into the usual 2D on normal hit and 6H on small CH for the classic 214S > Microdash > 2K pickup > 6H wall splat. Of course you lose from a good timed backdash, but it's really useful to throw in between a CSE and another. It's also a good tick throw button.
