The only thing he has is 4 guts which only exists so he doesn't die to combos the same way a manaless Asuka does (Which, is literally the only other character in the game who takes more damage than Chipp for that specific reason). How disingenuous are you? Unless you mean his fast defensive buttons and Dp, sure, but those are countered via having any remotely competent spacing skills, strike throw, and safejump knowledge.
