@@pancakes7483 I understand the intent behind her design, however some decisions dont make sense. She's supposed to be weaker without the sword but gains conversions from her upward slap? In a realistic setting, especially considering wallbreak regenerating the swords, Ram will never run out of them. It's either stall with her new routes or keep being plus with RC. It makes no sense to me tbh

@@Snoozy570 to be fair, garudog was super unfair if you lacked reversals since the 2S to break fuzzy did a ton of damage. she felt like a mini-pot in some ways. though it got boring quick for me. i often opted for weaker options to spice things up.

The threat of them is still there and nitro had to play differently considering them. For example at 4:30 nitro had 100 meter yet decided not to reversal super because s sword beats the reversal.

Is the bajoneto s > into flip crossup impossible to block or just difficult? Nitro got hit by it every time

It's unseeable. So you have to just know and guess, but it goes against your instincts.

uhh, it's probably close to unseeable because the flip happens way faster and she doesn't even need to complete the animation to cross up, so slightly faster than the start up of her flip. there's also a lot of mental burden associated with blocking guard crush sword now so i'd imagine it's really difficult to deal with the cross up on flip.

I know this out of left field but I wished they reworked Gio and make it so you can summon her dog out like Zappa’s Dog in GG XX where you control her dog with Dust left/right/up/down/neutral for movement/attacks while also controlling Gio as normal and mixing up pressure but with little less damage on some her moves w/o dog and there’s a meter for how long the dog is out like Zato’s Eddie meter. Even though I hated being sandwiched by Zappa and the Dog especially in ACPR considering other ridiculous things in Strive and how fast Oki mix-up characters haven’t been getting love from Arc Sys expect for Chip somehow, I would throw the bone give this one to Gio. Gio is in a decent spot but I wished they give her more or rework to make her more scary in neutral like the rework I proposed.

Despite the nerfs I think Gio is gonna fine this season as much as i whined and complained but i still can deny that what makes fundamentally strong is still there, i just whish they replaced 6hhh routes for en214k routes, 6hhh just looks bad.

6HHH do be looking bad. i wish it had more utility or player expression. kinda lame it's just the combo fodder tool. i wanna use it for throw baits, or weird frame traps.
