@@GoohnSquad Could be, since the sword has guard crush she may has more pressure at corner, and downward sword extends her combo. But compare with SL, ABA and GO those characters, I feel ram is so hard to against them.

Because a lot of the contention about Ram really is just about not being able to answer her when she throws the sword on start up and not being able to YRC or Burst the sword without getting counter hit and then comboed into the dirt, we actually dont know how good she will be when you actually CAN punish her throw startup or just YRC/Burst the throw and rob Ram of a sword for 6 seconds. Basically we'll actually be going to the version of Ram that we were actually expecting, and that a lot of Ram mains were dooming about the day before the patch actually dropped. The rekka and dauro buffs are good for her, so she'll at least be decent, but past that we really just dont know.

I wanna share a funny statistic even if it's not related to this video. I checked all the main 4 strive replay channels on youtube and out of ~150 games after the patch, axl low was featured 2 times. So 150 matches, 300 characters and only 2 times axl was picked (and both times a the very beginning of the patch). He was never a popular character, but right now it's simply impossible to find gameplay of him. It's insane how hard it is. Everyone simply just dropped him. It's just sad. Sorry for the rant

As a former Axl main I also dropped him this patch. Rainwater was my favorite move in the game and they relegated it to being near useless. This patch sucks and I’m going to try to refund if arcsys doesnt get a grip on reality.

Its a good change but they also buffed her other moves in ways that make it so that she's not actually weaker when unarmed lmao (full combo conversions off standing K with dauro launching universally, rekka 1 had its damage buffed despite being unarmed an you now do rekka loops with it). Nice concept, but her optimal routes atm dont even require sword moves for damage atm lmao

If you want to see what tier privilege looks like just go to 2:19. He his F.S right as she starts to throw her sword. They both get hit but she recovers faster while he's in juggle state, and the sword explodes so she gets a full combo. If she has F.S'd and he threw out any of Eddie's stuff that can clash (so not counting Oppose) Eddie would've been lost and he wouldn't have been able to confirm the combo.

​@@frankleungwolfI first want to preface by saying this is in no way meant to be disrespectful towards Zando, but they appear to be sticking with Ram for the time being, which I find interesting; because Zando kept indicating they were not going back to Ram because Asuka is more fun - and at one point in time - stated that even if Asuka were to be nerfed to bottom tier, they would still play him competitively. For someone who stated, "I AM Asuka," they sure did give up on the character easily. Moreover, they're a competitor, and I respect their decision - but at the same time, I don't think an individual should constantly make remarks like that if they're just going to go back on their word - even if it is something as insignificant as switching a video game character. In contrast, Gobou - a kind, humble, analytical player who laid down the foundation for all Asuka users (except Komekome) is still playing Asuka after dropping him in season 3 - so at least the best Asuka player in the world (who defeated Zando in an Asuka mirror match at AWT), worthy of being called Asuka himself, is still using the character, and he even apologized for being negative regarding Asuka's season 4 nerfs. Again, no disrespect to Zando, but I honestly believe that they could learn a thing or two from Gobou...
