Of course that isn't a universal rule(like sol), but in general what makes a top tier is great offence with abilities allowing them to keep said offence

@@AbubakarRaji-c2z True, but right now in particular what I'm saying is that defense is highly valued and a lot of top tiers have those defensive tools. Think Sol, Sin, Nago, Leo, all of those characters are extremely strong in high level play. Obviously Asuka and Chaos are still strong, but they're not dominant or overbearing. Chaos USED to be, and I think that stigma still kinda remains there since he's still a pain to fight.

Any video of Millia's top ggst gameplay speaks louder than any of my words. The tools just don’t hit the enemy half the time, kapels and artemis. Otherwise, there are only bare jumps, which are easy to read and punish. No damage and protect, and unusable discs after a throw or wall. Millia's gameplay in Strive simply doesn't exist, but arcsystems simply hasn't care enough of this character... for 4 years now. no chance.

A reminder to Strive players that GG Strive has not been a competitive game for 3 years. The whole meta in this game is cheap brainrot gorillas or broken characters with autopilot mode for 3 seasons in a row. Balance simply doesn't exist. Gorilla STRIVE- shame of gg series. Absolutely trash. I just can’t believe that after the virtuoso and deep acp and xrd they released this garbage (: This game hit rock bottom for 3 seasons in a row. Gorilla strive is not a competitive game. That is, of course, you can compete using gorillas from the meta, but technical and risk characters like Millia are not needed here. The meta of the game is braindead cheap garbage with broken damage, or a broken autopilot that just skips neutral and cuts you off in the corner. these are two extremes in this game. and Millia is stuck somewhere in the middle, powerless against them. Garbage game. the worst thing they could have done to the series. narrow, variable-free tunnel and gutted gameplay. don't mind me. I'm a fake, just like your game. Strive is fake guilty gear.
