At some point the site that tracks the ELO should have a reset every like 3 to 4 months where everyone’s SLO gets reset. kinda like the MR system in SF6.

My guess is Umisho wants to try her out to see if the hype is real, should be interesting. As of now Umisho is the only May in top 100 and then just barely.

@@jotogoat TBH I can't see top 1 contender May. It has never made sense to me to call her a contender when Nago and Slayer both seem very obviously better. Isn't she more of an easy top 3 character?

@@juniperrodley9843 May has an overwhelmingly better matchup spread compared to Nagoriyuki and Slayer. May and Sol do not have any kind of existent matchup charts, as they barely lose to any characters and have weaknesses that are either completely circumvented by another strength(s) or only have strengths. Slayer struggles on defense against a good variety of the cast, while May has a 4 framer that leads directly into a soft knockdown to start pressure. Slayer has higher damage, but May also has some of the highest damage in the game. Nagoriyuki is also just arguable top 5 this patch, as he actually has weaknesses to exploit and is fightable consistently this patch. May is just too good of a character this patch, eats off system mechanics and was indirectly buffed in the patch notes as well.
