Thanks for teaching me ABA. Saw her story in Woolie’s GG more series and picked up XXACR because it seemed cool, my first GG game and now ABA is my favorite character in any fighting game, 500 hours in game, god bless.

I personally like the old dimmer look is better. High contrast also adds a bit of saturation and makes it harder to see, at least for me. Also great content and keep it up, I'll be waiting for the next part of the guide! Personally I want to see more of ABA since you seem to be familiar with her quite a bit, something like going over her standard moves in more depth and how to play the neutral game will be pretty nice (especially how to deal with zoners). Also I'm interested in Johnny (nice Melty reference btw)

I think the old layout and dimmer setting was better. It's a little too bright now and the stretched aspect ratio looks off. Also, overlaying the fightstick inputs with the in game input line makes it hard to read. Great informative vid tho, looking forward to more

Thanks for doing a ABA guide in 2020. Been wanting to learn this game for a while now. One small thing though, idk if it's just me but hearing you sniff while you replay the combo clips in slo-mo is kinda uncomfortable lol. You probably can't help it but something to keep in mind.

Can anyone help with the timing of the IAD combos? I'm struggling to get the j.HS to land after IAD>j.S. Would that mean my IAD is too slow?

I don't think j.HS chains outside of Goku Moroha mode but I could be wrong. Either way, I never use that string when I play ABA. Here are some IAD combos I do use, now that I've been playing her for a while after making this video: (Moroha) cr.HP > IAD > j.SH Orb > 5S 2S ... (Goku Moroha) 2H Butt > IAD > j.SH Orb > 5S 2S Butt > IAD > j.SH Orb > 5S 2S ... Note that it is possible, against some characters, to do the air dash too early. This would cause the j.H to whiff under them.

@@Moqlnkn Thanks for the reply. Apologies on my annotations, I meant H (heavy slash) when I typed out HS. I've just been trying to practice the bnb moroha combo you put in your vid and mentioned in you reply here. I've just been selecting sol or ky as the dummy. Is the timing for the IAD different in the corner version vs midscreen? I can sometimes get the corner combo but can't seem to get down the midscreen one involving the rekkas.

@@Shariii616 The midscreen combo with rekkas is difficult. Just keep practicing. The timing doesn't change, but the speed of the followup combo does, so the corner combo is easier because 5S is faster than rekkas. To get the rekkas to land midscreen requires a sizable delay before the air dash AND a delay after the air dash, before hitting j.SH.

Get anything with Sanwa parts. Most things >$50 use Sanwa parts. I have the Qanba Obsidian, which uses Sanwa parts.

It's 236K in Normal Mode, and 41236K in Moroha Mode. I might have gotten one of them wrong in the video, but I'm too lazy to check. I input all my quarters as half circles anyway, most of the time.
