GH 02.09.99 - Emily blames AJ for Jason kidnapping Michael

I love Emily but she was out of line here. AJ IS THE FATHER and as such he has rights to get to know his son.

I hated how they tried to make AJ the bad guy for wanting to raise his son. I always felt the writers were wrong for that. A thug mob boss and his hit man deserve Michael but not his father? Come on!

so the rewriting of AJ as horrible man began here and of course St Jasus can do no wrong hard to have any kind of chance when your own family doesn't support you yet they all fall at there feet trying to please Jason a son who won't give them the time of a day and ironically now there are almost no quartermaines left anymore the irony is delicious when not sad.

I understand both parties....I detested Carly at this point in time, and AJ did deserve the right to be a father at this point.....Carly started this whole mess sleeping with everybody under the sun!

Actually Tony was the only one that kidnapped Michael. Jason didn't cause Carly told him to go out of town with Michael and she'd meet him. She then came up with one of her many famous plans and went to the Quartermaines to backstabbed Jason so the three could be together cause that's a good plan to her. I recently watched all of SJB as Carly playlists so I remember that scene and I still can't believe he actually forgave her for doing all of that.

Though he was a screw up most of the time and he was vicious to Carly, AJ is Michael's biological father and should be given the opportunity to act like a father.

Nothing about the situation is right from the get go so asking to AJ to play by the rules when Jason/Carly and later Sonny don't is wrong. Its false that AJ only wanted Michael because of ELQ or to gain status he told quite a few people as much it wasn't until later on after years of deceit and lies that he began working angles if Carly never lied AJ would have never had reason to resort to the things he did but protecting her scheme with Tony was more important then Michael.

I hated this. This was the beginning of the end. Jason robbed AJ of his son for a year and his "family" kept defending Jason's inexcusable actions. AJ should have smacked Emily in this.

I get what people were saying about Emily being a little too much with AJ but y'all got to remember AJ is a little too much here and he I honestly believe that the AJ in this videos before the other day came back it's like all he cared about was the fact that Michael yeah was his son but it wasn't because he loved Michael it was because everyone else loved Michael Michael would be the first for them Alan and Edward AJ wanted approval and he felt like the only way to get that was to have Michael

This was when Guza had started destroying the show. He was the one who put in the idea that the mob trinity were the good guys and every opponent of theirs were the “losers”. He damaged this show more than any head writer I’ve yet to see within the soap genre. Thank God he’s gone!

its bullshit reasoning like this that the Quartermaines virtually don't exist in any significant way anymore.....anybody who supports what Emily is saying and by extension what Jason and Carly did should not complain about there being no more Quartermaines because stuff like this is big reason why the future of the Q family is bleak at best.....now if your not a Q fan or don't care one way or the other about them I can respect that at least there is some consistency there.

Now you see this is why i agree with Emily....the situation was already unsteady and instead of trying to make an effort for a smooth transition, PJ went all heavy handed....aided by loud Edward....and they did was make things worse....i despise PJ and although i agreed that he had a right to know his son his attitude and behavior was just ridiculous.
