Just discovered this clip tonight - and thought of Little Red Riding hood before I read any of the comments. LOL - I think Denise was running very late to the studio that day and didn't have time for hair & wardrobe. She's beautiful as always, but the only other time I remember seeing her with obviously permed hair was the blooper reel from 1981 of the engagement party.

I saw a feature posted somewhere on YT of what it was like to be an actor on the set of GH. I think the piece was done around 1980, and the actors said that they had to find time between rehearsals for hair and makeup - that it wasn't a set time, but kind of a fluid thing and it was up to them to get it done before their time to shoot. The idea that maybe Miss Alexander didn't make it to get her hair done is a real possibility if they were behind in the morning run through, or she ran late to the studio. But, even this kind of perm looks good on her.

Yeah that hairstyle was popular at the time, it looks like Barbra Streisand on the cover of the Wet album lol Usually redheads would wear green, but here the red cape actually complements Leslie's hair nicely I think

Yes but did know that Monica gave birth and said this my first born then in 1989 she have a daughter dawn when she was in st Diego so when Gloria Monty came back in 1991 she was made because she and Robert Shaw writes Monica giving birth aj is her first born so she decided to kill off it so sad

Absolutely! Apart from the fact that DA looked great in everything she wore, I just thought what she wears underneath that cape in that scene more looks like a Lesley in the 2000's outfit, when she wore a lot of wide stuff. My Lord, am I really trying to anaylze the logics of soap opera outfits here.... :-)?

Doggone it! I think they worst thing of all about all of this is that I REALLY REALLY wanted Monica and Lesley to be friends after all that happened previously. And while they were never quite as close again after the whole AJ thing blew up, I was glad that over the years they weren't enemies anymore. I think around the time that Alan and Susan were having their fling is when Lesley and Monica sorta kinda buried the hatchet. I know they weren't enemies anymore after that.
