Monica has suffered so much loss on this show. Her husband, plus AJ almost dying then later actually dying, Emily dying, Jason "dying", Drew "dying", then Jason dying again, this poor woman deserves a break.

Not to mention her in-laws, Edward and Lila. She loved Lila, and if nothing else she was at least used to having Edward around. She also lost a daughter, Dawn, way back. I know in Edward and Lila's cases it was inevitable, but I've never understood why GH tore apart most of the Quartermaines one by one.
