I think Esme had a point here. Because now it does feel like Spencer is trying to control Ace. Or he's at least developed an unhealthy attachment to him. Would be very different if he was actually his father.

It annoys me that they got the cutest little kid to be her baby... I'm so sick of Espionage I'm ready for her to meet her end. If only she had actually died when Ava pushed her off the tower. 🙄😒

She can keep the baby in jail for up to 18 months. But we know Esme will be out much sooner.

For her past actions I can concur, but her current actions are understandable she's incapable of letting go of her own child as any good mother should. He's her everything and nothing and no one else matters more to her. The difference between Spencer and Esme in this scenario: To Spencer: Ace is subconsciously a tool of revenge to be used against Esme for his need for closure. To Esme: Ace is plainly and literally EVERYTHING. *That's why Spencer shouldn't be around his little brother in his current mindset.
