It disgusts me how Laura is supporting this psychopath considering how she ruined Spencer's life, Nik's life, Cam's life, Joss's life and Trina's life. The writers have the nerve to try to make Esme into a innocent good mother, oh so vulnerable now... whereas GH put Trina through the ringer with the trial, Spencer's "betrayal", getting kicked out of school and her public reputation being ruined. Esme needs to go to Spring Ridge just like Spencer had to...and she needs to suffer badly for all she did, especially if they want to redeem her character in the eyes of the views with morals.

Me too. Laura propping up Annabelle is a big no for me. I don't give a rats ass about no "amnesia ". That psycho still has all those evil tendencies in her. Like Laura herself said, she's a scorpion 🦂.

I think this is Laura projecting her guilt over abandoning Nikolas when he was a baby. She knows what it’s like as a mother to be separated from your child. She’s seeing in Esme what she felt herself all those years ago. She loved her son, not the circumstance she was living in at the time of his birth and until she escaped. It’s definitely tough, as a viewer seeing Esme in a positive light though.

I'm hoping Trina finally gets the chance to confront the witch that damn near ruined her life and took pleasure in it. Annabelle can have all the "amnesia " she wants, but Trina has ALL her memories of what a monster that chick was. That is very much her business.

Trina vs Esme needs to happen. She ruined her life all because she was jealous of Spencer's feelings for Trina. I hope and pray that Spencer, Trina, Joss, and Cam get the victory she deserves when she pays for her crimes. I don't care if she has amnesia she should not get a free pass.

@Kesha Coates she ruined lives over jealousy. Ryan had his own agenda because of Ava. Esme created her own because she was jealous of friendship, Spencer's feelings for Trina, etc. N then to sleep with Nicholas to stick it to Ava n Spencer.... that was the icing on the cake. The pregnancy wasn't planned but she knew exactly what she was doing. She's going to continue to use that baby to breakdown the Cassadines to continue to do Ryan's work even in death.

@C D Yep, she was Big Mad that Spencer wanted to blow Trinas back out. The pregnancy wasn't planned, but she was ok if it happened. Remember when Dikolas offered to go to the drug store the morning after, and she said she took care of it? She was fully prepared to use Ace(Damien) in the hole because she's absolutely horrible.

I’m supposed to believe that Laura was moved to tears bc Esme supposedly loves this baby? The same baby she called a “get out of jail free card”? The same baby she named Ace bc it’s her “ace in the hole”? The writers know we actually watch the show right? That we know she intentionally got pregnant to break up Nik and Ava’s marriage? I hope they know amnesia isn’t the reset they think it is. This writing is so heavy handed and lazy. I’d love to have faith that they have some grand plan and they want the audience to feel this way, but I don’t.

Ikr, I'm not buying non of it. Laura's only job here is to "protect mother and child". That in turn will put a rift between Spencer. As much as he wants to protect his sibling, there's not much he can do. Let Laura handle Esme for now. Go on and live his best life w/ Trina before something truly happens.

The baby was an accident. I don’t think it was intentional. At the same time, I get your point because when Nikolas ask her to take the after pill , she said she is covered while she decided to leave it to faith.

@@vanessawacleche383 Her character is defined by her evilness and scheming…i can’t watch someone have what I assume was unprotected sex, lie about “handling the situation”, then refer to her pregnancy as her ticket to beat legal charges and not think this was intentional…her actions felt more calculated than “leaving it to faith” for me.

@@gmclite1123 Yeah. This whole story is awful and I haven’t seen one person say they liked it. I’m with you. Just let Laura take the baby and let’s move on. Round 12 of esme vs everyone is tired. I used to at least find her enjoyable. But they’ve sucked all the fun out the character. Last year, I just wanted a fun summer for the young adults. Instead we got a court trial. Now we have an impending custody case….have the writers met a young adult? We should be getting scheming, trips, romance, etc…

This is why I stopped watching. After all the things she put Trina through, they want to rewrite the character so that she gains sympathy. I hate this show. I only watch the clips on here now (sometimes).

I hope Esme will eventually come to her senses and realize that letting Laura and Kevin take care of the baby for awhile is her best option right now. They are both mature and responsible adults that would be way better at taking care of a baby than Nikolas or Spencer. If she could at least make one good decision in her life apart from all the bad ones she has made it would be that.

Here my take on this storyline. Im not mad at it. Yes i know it's frustrating having Esme lose her memory and not completely paying for all the wrong she done. But i feel this is leading up to something bigger . I get Spencer is mad & has the right but he is not a kid anymore. I understand the hurt but he has to play it smart. Coming at Esme everytime he sees her is not getting him nowhere. Im glad that Trina is finally talking to Esme . Out of everybody she was damaged by what she did. And yes i know the s3x tape was wrong but Trina was about to go to jail . Im having faith in the writers cus this is the only soap i watch now besides Bold and the Beautiful

I feel like esme should give the baby to her old nanny like writers come on where her nanny at like for instance like spencer saying the baby should be with him in sonny house like hello there are enemies out to get him like I rather esme gives the baby to her old nanny than the cassidines Because one thing for sure if they do get the baby they will change his name And erase everything about esme until the baby is at least old enough to ask about who his mother is

For those who thinks Esme is faking amnesia, think again. She is not. Loved Laura crying as she is realizing that that baby is not in danger and is in the hand of a caring mother. Hate Esme or not, what Spencer is trying to do is wrong and should at least try to compromise. I really hope Esme will not end up like a Nelle and more like an Ava who never has a break as life is throwing her BS after BS. That would be Esme’s karma for all the horrible things she did.

What's clear now is that Spencer is becoming too dangerous to himself and more importantly to others especially young Ace. He's not fit to being a father as he has his own parental issues to deal with. That's why I doubt the judge will allow young Spencer to have custody or any type of contact till and only after he's matured himself to a notable degree.

Love isn't what makes someone a good mother. Being willing to put aside what you want and do what's best for the baby is what makes a good mother. It can never been in a baby's best interests to spend the first several months of its life in a prison. If Esme were any kind of mother she would let the baby go with its family until the end of her sentence.

What’s the point of giving your baby up to someone who will try their best to shut you down access? She does not thrust Laura and Kevin. That’s why she did not want to give them the baby and don’t get me started with Spencer.

This situation, potentially separating a baby from his mother, is dredging up old feelings for Laura. Don’t forget that she abandoned Nikolas when he was a baby. She knows that pain. Say what you will, but Esme is a mother now and does seem to love that baby boy. Laura sees herself in Esme to that point. I think that’s why she’s trying so hard to help her and be kind to her.
