Spencer was speaking facts! That's exactly who Esme was. Self interest and self preservation although I do believe she loves Ace. Now regarding her memory I'm not so sure. And Laura was right, to raise a child you need help. Whether it comes from friends or family. Ace is to Esme what Michael was to Carly - a meal ticket.

I think Esme wants to use Ace to make sure she stays out of prison. She isn’t mommy material sorry not sorry. If Nikolas wasn’t stuck in a hospital bed god knows where Esme wouldn’t have Ace right now.

With all due respect but Spencer's moralizing and self-righteous rings hollow because Esme was right, his and Laura's plan is completely bogus and serves mainly to separate Esme from her child and drive a wedge between them over time. No mother with a lick of common sense would agree to that deal.

@@SuRoFo If the mother is nothing but a vindictive, evil and selfish bitch who made a sex tape of two people and then framed another for making said tape then she deserves to be in prison. Esme is basically a watered down version of Nelle and why should any judge let two sociopaths have custody of their children?

​@Jack Hart she is about self-preservation. She is not thinking about Ace and his needs right now, so Spencer is right. Are you new to GH? If not, then you would know how Esme was (This "amnesia" shtick is fake). So even with a baby, she is only thinking about #1, and that is not Ace.

@@mudeasno1baby73 I don't think Esme's faking her amnesia, she keeps up the "act" too well even in situations where she doesn't have to pretend for anyone and when it completely compromises her self-interests. And the "Ace's best interests" argument is bogus when there's no legitimate reason for there to be separate living arrangements for Esme and Ace outside of prison unless it's to purposely create a divide between them like Spencer wants.

Thank you Spencer for speaking the facts memory loss or not Esme is still the same Esme. She only looks out for number #1 and her old self can easily resurface at any time so be on alert. Esme Prince is no more trustworthy than any other criminal that’s been on this show. The fact she chose to go through with having a baby that was conceived through cheating with Spencer’s father boggles my mind like why would you want to be a teenage mom? She isn’t fit for motherhood which is why I am hoping Spencer can win custody of Ace. I hope to God he does so he can at least give a better proper name.
