Trina captured Spencer perfectly, with an incredible life force of Spencer spirit. How she describes the lover for life. The words in Tabyana's monologue are so precious to hear about the love of her life. Every time I watch it, it brings tears to my eyes. A Bravo performance from Tabyana Ali.

What we got in these scenes gives me a little hope for better for Trina/Taby…I’m still cautious, but I loved what we got for her yesterday.

I was so touched yesterday that I thought about my mom being deceased for over 2 decades. I loved her acting about grief because I went through grief and kept it inside for years. The emotions that Taby captivated is what we’ve been wanting to see and makes me excited to see what’s to come ahead from the new writers. “You’re everywhere and nowhere at the same time”..”I don’t wanna goodbye to you, but I gotta try because I don’t, I’m gonna drown too.” The words touched me so deep because it’s so honest and real for anyone grieving with a loss to say. And it maybe foreshadow ahead what could possibly happen if grief overcomes Trina. We shall see what lies ahead in the weeks to come, as we await the return of Spencer

Tabyana/Trina was on fire yesterday. Her performance was superb. She commanded the screen in such a captivating manner, and injected such emotion into every word that came out of her mouth, that I literally held my breath while I waited for her to finish her dialogue. This is what good writing for a talented actor looks like. These are the words that I have been waiting to hear to let me know that Trina has not given up on her forever love. This was the moment where the writers for the first time since Spencer passed away (presumed death) gave Tabyana dialogues that was worthy of her, deserving of Spencer's memory, and really challenged her commendable and untapped talent. Although I was a sobbing mess during Trina's entire scene yesterday, I was also proud and mesmerized by her profound and heartfelt words, her delivery of them, and the sheer emotion and praise-worthy way that she portrayed her scenes. Tabyana is a cherished treasure who deserves her own golden statute. I hope they continue to give her the caliber of dialogues that made yesterday such a special and appreciated event. Go Tabyana/Trina, you are as limitless as the universe. Whoever wrote those dialogues for Trina's performance yesterday should remain Sprina's writer for the rest of their career on GH. LONG LIVE SPRINA.

I was crying watching this scene. Losing the love of your life, is tragic. But, losing them, at such a young age, seems unbearable. Trina echoed all of that heartache. I am happy to see Trina visit Spencer's "grave" and get a chance to talk with him . I thought that a dove would fly by and sit on his headstone as clue that he's alive. Or since they are near a water Spencer's dove would float up and Trina sees it and that's her sign. I would love if she had a dream about Spencer and he tells her to come back to Paris and find him , because he's still there. It would've been great to have scenes with Taggert , her real father the one that knows her. they could go to Paris together and bring Spencer home.

Watching Trina in these scenes reminds me of the time when Spencer told Trina that he was leaving town because he would never get what he wanted there. When Trina asked what that was, Spencer told her that he wanted to know what it felt like when he mattered so much to someone that it hurt them when he was gone. Because he knew exactly how that felt. Well Spencer, your absence has devastated Trina. She is heartbroken without you. Spencer may have fallen in love with Trina 1st, but she loved him (loves him) just as deeply. Trina always saw the best in Spencer. And she loved him through good and bad. He was her Knight in shining armor! Her handsome prince. The love of her life. And she broken & completely lost from his "death". I cannot wait for their reunion, y'all! Its gonna be fkn EPIC!!!!!!!!

I'm glad she went to Spencer's " grave" and was able to talk with him about her true feelings. While she was talking I thought that a dove would fly on his head stone as like a sign. Perhaps while she's sitting there near the water Spencer's own dove could float and that would be a sign saying that he could be alive. He could appear in her dream and he's letting her knowing that she needs to find him and help him come home. It could lead her back to Paris since he's still there and her search will begin. It would great if Taggert was around helping Trina grieve and maybe when she gets that sign he could go back to Paris with her. Taggert is her real father , someone who knows her best. Curtis would just get in the way with his wheelchair and acts like he knows everything and can figure it out. Maybe when she finds Spencer he could be in a hospital somewhere because of the poison that Esme injected in him , and they could have him as "John doe". What's actually bothering me is that Laura nor Kevin has checked in with Trina to see how she's doing ; after they both waited on the boat together for any signs of Spencer its rough that Trina hasn't been on her mind at all. With Kevin I can understand with the lack of communication since it was his niece who attacked them and allegedly " killed Spencer", so I get it but he could offer someone for her to talk to if and when she needs it.

I have my own theory I will put out there. I could be wrong, but it's just an inkling I have. I could see something taking Trina back to Paris. I wouldn't even say she would necessarily be going to seek out Spencer, but just to maybe hang out at the Sorbonne or check out art galleries and network. While she is there, she eventually reunites with Spencer some kind of way. I could see them hanging out in Paris for a few episodes and then either get engaged or elope. Then they would go offscreen for several weeks. When they are back onscreen, it will be a Spencer recast. I really don't see NAC signing a new contract...I know...I liked him too. I just don't see it. I can see him only coming back to finish out his contract. I don't think NAC's Spencer will go back to Port Charles. I could see him coming back to film the Paris scenes with Tabyana and then be gone. Again, like I said...they will either get engaged or elope in Paris. They will be offscreen for a few weeks...and then they will be back with a new Spencer. I imagine Trina and NuSpencer will be the ones returning to Port Charles OR Trina and NAC's Spencer stay in Paris. I could also believe they would stay in Paris...and we would see less and less of them and then they will both go offscreen together when NAC's contract expires. Who is to say they won't release Tabyana from her contract early so Spencer and Trina can ride off into the sunset together (well...stay in Paris) until the unforeseeable future. My understanding is there is a clause in their contracts that they can release them early if they need to. It's just a thought. It would mean...if they left together...they would both be gone by July.

I’d prefer they go off into the sunset together and once significant time has passed the bring the characters back at some point most likely diff actors to give them a fresh start. but that leaves Tabyana without a job (I’m sure she could find another one) and no younger black female main cast member on the show. And there are no black female children to age up. Sad. Cause they got rid of the black women all those years ago. I digress. So…I think the recast option maybe the best. It happens all the time. Even with fan fav. Jason got recast until Steve came back…again. The fans are going to snap but it keeps TA with a job and these characters on the show. And fans may get used to it. But then I remembered they disliked the new guy who played lucky after Johnathan Jackson left. He wasn’t bad they just loved Johnathan and wouldn’t give the new guy a chance. I’m seeing similarities with how favored NAC is. But he deserves to put his career first. I will hate when leaves too cause he is a great actor. But the show must go on. And I think Trina should have storylines outside of Spencer. But I do realize they are a main draw.

I think they will want the characters to be mid 20s and have more mature storylines.I think they are waiting until after Tabyana is gone. Her contract is up March 2025 (she could leave sooner if they need her to). I don't see her staying past her contract. I have heard people talk about Jonathan Jackson's trajectory being similar to NAC as well.

I would like her to stay in the part but…But, they have other characters especially her family treating her like a child is unfortunately because she looks so young. With that hook storyline her parents basically kept her on house arrest. Joss’ character was all over the place and she had been physically targeted twice. Trina was never really targeted physically. In earlier scenes her family stella calls her little girl. She’s like 21 and would be a jr in college. I know she is small but so are other characters that they don’t treat like a child. So I could honestly see the age up. Thanks for your insight. I like reading and reading these comments. I don’t always agree but that’s the fun part for me. I like seeing other perspectives than my own.

This whole Tina sadness/mourning and people needing to comfort her is getting old and annoying. They are dragging this out way too much until (N) returns. They need to right better roles for her in the mean time.

she's had no more than 5 scenes in mourning for the love of her life over a 2-month period, it's not like she's been on our screens much and this ep was the first true, solid POV we've gotten for her since Spencer died....

You guys are stupid. If you see my other post on this channel you will know that they are my couple. And I love the, together. But they are not doing This actress any favors having her mourn this character for so long. If it wasn't boring, no one would say it boring. You guys don't agree because it hasn't gone on long enough for you yet. I want to see her be more cheerful and doing things she loves without her life being all about Spencer. It makes her seem like he is her value. It's not a compliment towards her character. You guys should want her to be upbeat and happier I'm sure.

@@deew5587 This is so off base. I'm not even in the fandom and I can still tell how wrong this is. She has hardly been on the screen at all - which I think is good. I didn't want to see her grieve every week onscreen like others did. Other than her scene with Curtis, this was actually the only scene she has really even talked about how deep her grief is. So, no...they haven't dragged anything out. I think it's been just right. They had the scene with Curtis and then she was offscreen for like 3 weeks...which I was happy about. In fact...people who hate Trina and Sprina even commented by saying "I'm glad I haven't seen Trina because I don't like her and I don't want to see her grieve every day". I think that says a lot that even people who hate her noticed her absence. People complained about that - but I didn't. I thought it made sense. Then they let her come back to have scenes with Joss and Ava. They didn't even talk about Spencer - they talked about Dex. This was the first REAL grieving scene since Spencer died and she has been back in Port Charles. It was just right and appropriate. I feel like she really got it out between the scenes on Monday and today. I think moving forward after today...NOW she will start trying to find some things to do with herself again. They are writing it correctly. I say that as a writer myself. Grief comes in waves. She hasn't been onscreen to express herself untll now.
