It is such a pity that GH is still not listening to the fans when it comes to Trina. I see that the new writer contributed absolutely nothing to Trina's cause, as she is being featured less and less. I guess being last in the ratings is right up GH's alley.

No, new writer Elizabeth Korte is known to be a Carly fan and by default a Joss and Michael and Dex fan. I think that Patrick wanted Trina to have more screen time and that's why we had her awkwardly added to Brooklyn's Bachelorette party, I don't think that Elizabeth Korte added Trina to Brooklyn's Bachelorette party. I think that Patrick wanted GH to be about more than just Sonny and Jason and Carly and their kids.

I want the writers to do better by Trina. Also, it is time to recast Spencer.

The powers that be aren't recasting Spencer Cassadine at all, and they could have. Gio is being brought in to GH to be Trina's new love interest. I think that Spencer will come back to GH when Tabyana leaves GH next year when Tabyana leaves GH and I don't think that Tabyana will be staying on GH past her current contract which expires next year.

I think NAC will be back way before next year his contract expires in July so I think he will be back around July before his contract expires

@nollonhatchett5873 I agree that NAC will return to GH, and I also think Tabyana will be leaving GH, and the writing has been on the wall already for months. Tabyana/Trina is wearing NAC/Spencer's favorite color orange in the new cast photos.

Hi Everyone: Thank you LMNN for the recap At this point Trina just needs to speak her mind to Laura, and Alexis. In my opinion its over due. GH needs to give Trina her own storyline. Bit I have to admit I am worried about the character of Trina with her lack of on screen air time and now the shake up in the writer's room. This Heather storyline is so Genie Frances can go on her annual vacation in my opinion.

Truth is gh lies a lot about what goes on behind the scenes. Ever since last year when it was announced nac would take a leave of absence I feel gh knew nac would not be back or have enough time to come back once his filming ended. Nac was last on gh in December and started filming in January so it is obvious he along with gh knew he would not be returning due to the small amount of time left on his contract. To keep buzz going about whether or not he would return nac along with gh waited until about a month or so before may to announce he would not be returning. Now Trina / tabyana is barely on screen and gh is already been wasting the small amount of time left on her contract by having her have the same conversations for the small amount of screen time she does get. Even if gh pairs Trina and gio both actors will only have a short time on screen together because I do not feel tabyana has too much time left on gh.

I thought it was clear he wasn't coming back. They weren't really hiding much, it's just some people chose to be in denial. I like NAC, but I saw it for what it was June 2023. None of this was a surprise for many of us. He would have left sooner if it weren't for the writer's strike so I think people should be happy NYC even happened with the fi-core writers. Once they made the announcement he got the role in Monsters - I already knew what time it was. I'm open to Gio if the actor is good and he has chemistry with Tabyana. I already like some things I know of him: classically trained violinist (I have friends that are professional violinists so I do pay attention to that. Gio's musical talent is impressive). He also has dual citizenship (Italian-American) so that may come into play for his character....who knows. He has posted pictures with a very cute black girl. I don't want to rush and say she is his girlfriend with no further information. My point is that it at least tells me he definitely wouldn't have an issue with portraying in an interracial relationship. With his background, he may be more mature than his 19 years. I'm going to give him a chance. Trina needs friends - everything doesn't have to be about starting a relationship so I don't know why people are even rushing to that.

I agree. GH and he both knew.. Tabyana needs to move on her talent and time are being wasted. We barely see her anymore .

Yes. NAC and GH both led viewers on. I think they always knew he wasn't returning.

I really don't think that Tabyana will be staying on GH past her current contract, which expires early next year, and the writing has been on the wall already for months. Tabyana's time and talent are being wasted on GH and have been for months and new writer Elizabeth Korte is known to be a Carly fan and by default a Joss fan and it shows in the writing on the show. I think that the powers that be are hoping that Gio brings in ratings and media attention like NAC does but I think that if Steve Burton returning to GH can't bring much as far as ratings to GH that Gio won't either and GH doesn't have a good history with interracial couples and Spencer and Trina are an exception and definitely not the norm on GH and I think that Gio will be a rebound guy for Trina and and that Gio will eventually be paired with a young white woman.

@cherylbland4808 So that Trina and Spencer can leave GH together. I can't foresee Tabyana resigning another three year contract when her current contract expires early next year because she's already being thrown in the background and not given much to do. Tabyana could choose to leave earlier than that and I wouldn't blame her.

I like Sprina and I get why people are mad I notice Trina's decline in screen time too same way am over her sad I'm only getting to see Carly twice a week. Trina has got way less than that so I guess why fans are mad. No ending the show talks thou these writers need to get it together. I was really hopeful for them but they're letting me down

Down for Trina finding friendships outside of Joss; maybe Gio can be a really good friend to Trina. Not so sure about them being a couple though. Time or lack of screen time for Trina on GH will tell what is next for when Tab’s contract expires. Rooting for Trina having more screen time with anyone, even Gio. After all these months, this something I look forward to. Anything to see more of Trina makes will make me and her true fans happy!

I have a feeling that Trina and Gio's relationship is doomed from the start because it will just be a rebound guy for Trina. I think that Tabyana will be leaving GH when her contract expires early next year and putting Trina with Gio reinforces my original thought that Trina's point of view and voice are often minimized or ignored. I think that Gio is too young for Trina.

@@amusicfan25a21 Based on him being born in 2002, he would be same age as Trina in the show. IRL he is definitely too young but in this pretend world of GH, it works. However, I'm not so sure about them being a couple.

I don't think that Tabyana will renew her contract with GH because she's already being thrown in the background and not given much to do it's really clear that the powers really struggle with Trina and her feelings and her point of view. I think that Trina and Gio's relationship will be used to prop up Joss and Dex's relationship and the powers that be are hoping that Gio brings in ratings and media attention like NAC does but Gio won't especially given that Steve Burton's return to GH really didn't give GH the ratings that ABC was looking forward. Gio will be a rebound guy for Trina and I think that Spencer will eventually return to GH before Tabyana leaves GH to fight for his true love Trina.

love trina and stella but what i did not like they are trying to make excueses for laura for what she did to trina and i want trina to go after the people that hurt her and also that got spencer killed

So, the whole Gio being the "Remy Spencer" thing is not going anything for me. He's cute and all but he looks too young. Especially impacted to NAC. HOWEVER, I am down for seeing them become "close friends" where he develops feelings for her (just like Spencer did cuz, who wouldn't, right?) and she starts to slowly move forward to her grief and live her life again. And then maybe Joss tells her how into her Gio is that Trina maybe starts to consider it. Bad then BAM 💣🎇💣🎆💣!!!!!! SPENCER IS ALIVE!!!!!!! ****MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION!!!***
