$350 in 1980 is worth about $1400 in 2024. If we are fortunate enough to be watching these wonderful clips ten years from now, would someone please post what the equivalent amount world be for 2034? I may not be around to do so. This is just crazy to fathom that we are all so invested and interested in the LnL story 44 years after the initial airing and that it could possible go to 54+ years. Gloria Monty should be so proud…. as well as all the actors of this time period.

I love how the ensemble cast is so fluid! Dan Rooney shooting craps, just too wild. It almost seemed to me back in the day that everyone had a story line that found a way for their character to meet Steve Hardy. It seemed like a rite of passage for every character on the show. This so explains the appeal of this show back then. The town was so small, and friendly, that everyone knew everyone, and respected each other on some level.

Poor Dan struck out with both Jesse and Ruby. I always felt sorry for him. I cannot remember though when he stopped dating Jesse for Ruby. He was with Jesse at Luke's wedding when he asked her to make it a double wedding. Did he stop dating when she said no again then?
