Ok, I am coming out of hiding now after watching 190 videos so far. I am kinda late to jump onto the bandwagon. I just gotta admit that I am enjoying the comments as much as the videos. It is so nice to know there are others out there who share my guilty pleasure of basking in those vintage GH days. Captivating!!!

After I lost my husband last year I was stuck in bed a lot really sick. I started watching this to distract myself. It was a good idea, it's helped, but lately it's bittersweet. It's too realistic. It makes you feel things. My husband used to grab my head like that sometimes. Other times he was so shy and tender, I'd start to cry at the love in his eyes. He could look across a room at me and I knew exactly what he was thinking. He actually did carry me up the stairs once, seeing that clip was something! We couldn't wait to be together. Even after 43 years! It sounds so sappy, so exaggerated, but it was true. Like fiction.... That's the picture here. It's fiction.. But real emotions. That's what they tapped into here, why it's so captivating all these years later. Guess that's why I keep watching, when it's hard to watch. Thanks for the distraction.

Luke reminds me, also, of someone special, my daughter's father. He was very impulsive like Luke. I loved him dearly. He was also even tall and blond! Gone now, from neglect of mental and other health issues.

One of my fave Luke and Laura scenes ! Def watched more than once (im pretty sure i have it memorized too lol) As a newbie to this story, I now see why they were all the range back then. This was before my time but I'm so so glad to be able to get a glimpse of this wonderful couple and their story. Tony acts with such intensity and authenticity. Genie captures your attention with her grace and beauty. They are equally amazing and to say otherwise is complete you know what. ;) so tony and genie, thank you for your portrayal of this unbelievable story of what it means to love and to be loved. That guy was crazy special, Nothing wrong with Kin Shriner he's cute,acting okay,but there's no comparison,Anthony Geary was insanely sexy. His love scenes with Genie Francis were smoking hot ,poetry in motion,among the best ever seen on screen and better than any onscreen couple seen today ,thus far. Beautiful in their artistry,even the controversial scene was beautiful and stunning,they made the unreal seem real. This is art and those are 2 great artist

Somehow I think that kiss wasn't planned or it wasn't planned like that! I think that was TG ad libbing and her going with it. They've both talked about how he would do that and it was part of their magic that she could just go with it. It's a lot of what made them come off as so natural. And her telling him how to get in and get a disguise. This Laura is SO much better than whiny helpless Laura. I loved her so much after she changed like this and I remember I couldn't stand her before Luke came on.
