Me too. I broke down and watched the kev/laura scenes. I'm happy for her, she deserves it. And I know the actors wanted this so I am glad they got it...but dang they ruined a good story. Can anybody not love the romantic in Luke? I mean, he plain loves this woman and incredibly contains his physical needs in check. There is the difference between this relationship with Laura and the other women we were supposed to believe he loved. TG shows Luke having issues with the convention... like Luke does.. once he asks he considers what that means when he is alone.. but the minute he is back with Laura there are no doubts. He wants her and the fears of what "married life" entails washes away.

It doesn't make any sense that Luke wouldn't spend the night. The things the writers are having him say don't make sense. I mean they already slept together and Luke wanted it to happen all the time. Logically, this doesn't make sense except as a plot device. How are we supposed to believe he doesn't want to be with this gorgeous woman that he's totally in love with?? Laura looks so disappointed and sad and rejected too. I feel like TG is trying his best to deliver this weirdness but it doesn't ring true...

It's interesting how protective of her he was in real life. I wonder why he never married. He came from a strong moromon family his parents I think were married to each other for life had two sisters. Only this past year did I learn anything about him including his name. He's a year younger than my parents. My mother didn't think he was handsome but I think it was the perm fro I told her his hair is short and straight naturally. She thought he looked better and better looking with his normal hair cut short. So it was the fro that threw her off plus she and I have naturally curly hair and never liked it grass always greener on the other side. I wear my hair curly hers is short and she straighten s it easy to do at tht length. Like Hyde on That 70's show telling Kelso who asked who perms your hair he said, "This Bodacious Moss is a gift from God!" Lol 🤣 🤣 🤣 that's the way I look at mine.

I did enjoy seeing these again because I was just a 10 year old kid and don't remember much like relearning from scratch. I quit watching soap operas 27 years ago they just got more and more dumb.
