Either Alex is lying to Edward about never falling in love with a man (she's very involved with Tony Cassadine when she meets him on his ship and they talk about marriage a few weeks later) or the writers added that in late. Not sure.

When the writers went on strike GM took over writing the story. Instead of the big story being the formula to make diamonds in a lab, the story changed to carbonic snow and a weather machine. The previous writers had Alex only using men like Tony and James Duvall to get what she wanted. Gloria Monty wrote her as being in love with Tony Cassadine. GM also changed it where Edward went along with the plan to frame Laura when before the writers always had him protecting Laura.

I think he broke a lot of hearts over the years because there was a desire on the part of whomever the decision makers were to find a chemistry with another actress that was actually non-existent. We can say it over and over again, if they hadn't been so good maybe Mr. Geary could have had a shot at an entirely different career. But, he was better than the rapist they cast him to be, and the rest is history.

Hey, this is kind of odd. I watched this last night and I had on today's episode this afternoon. Luke was looking for an address on Harbor View Rd. here and today Carly mentioned that she was walking on Harbor View Rd. I don't know why it stuck in my mind, but I thought it was weird. It has to be a coincidence. They can't get history right with characters, I doubt they worry about streets in PC. Isn't that funny.

I don't know about that. All throught the early years Luke always kissed the Quartermaines asses. He did everything he could to please them. Expect marry into that family like OMG!
